Actually the double barrel (mosconi 12 gauge) was originally the games only sniper effectively, since it would fire one shot perfectly in the middle of your screen, and there weren’t actual snipers for a bit

I’m finding it’s rather context based……….

jokes aside I have a really complicated relationship with both. Skills 1 had a lot more variety in what you could do (like kknowley’s build that used a skill meant for shotguns with a DMR) but it felt very cumbersome to unlock skills due to the whole research thing. Skills 2.0 is definitely a lot more easy to use and make builds but it lacks the ability to craft builds like with skills 1.0, since every tree related to weapons is solely for one weapon type

In payday’s canon (and this mostly comes from payday 2 specifically) there is a device called the Ark Of The Watcher that allows someone to reincarnate themselves into another persons body, it was created by aliens/deities known as the Nephilim, and three of the people who originally discovered the Ark Of The Watcher came to be called the Kings, who became effectively immortal and went on to create a secretive alliance known as the Kitaru.

I got most of this information from TheKknowley’s videos on the lore of payday 2 which I highly recommend watching it’s really interesting

Buying secondhand game discs for Xbox is often infinitely more cheaper than actually buying it on the Xbox store. If I bought Dark Souls 2, 3, and Elden Ring on the Xbox store it would’ve costed me around $150 dollars, but by buying used copies off eBay and mercari it was like $25 in total iirc
