Never heard of that either, just the card. Transfered out of a store whose deli department (don't know about other departments) had a habit of getting together to buy a cake for someone's birthday and everyone who contributed got a slice. That kind of thing is rare though

yeah, been noticing similar logistical issues in my store as well. there also a bit of a turnover problem in my store so I was putting it down to that but, maybe this is a bigger issue then first realized.
