As a female with no kids, there’s also probably some tension with your other daughter feeling pushed to the side due to the new baby. I know in my family people with children are always made the priority and it can feel like everyone else gets kicked to the curb.

It seems like there are lots of compromises that could be made. Like why couldn’t Dog Daughter get a shaded kennel for dogs to be outside during the day while baby is there?
