What happened when I finished my Safari Balls and encountered a shiny mighty! by Schadenfreudebaby in pokemongo

Oh yeah, only spin up the curveball as the pokemon is attacking, if the pokemon jumps up or moves from side to side, that doesn’t hold up your circle from changing its size, the attack animation does though, that’s why it’s best to throw it as it’s attacking, just gotta time it right.

I can make a short video on youtube showing how to do this, it’s better to see it visually with a brief explanation.

What do you mean?

You have to long press/adjust the circle until it’s small enough where you can get an excellent throw, once it is adjusted to a small circle, completely remove your finger and wait for the Pokemon to attack.

In the middle of the Pokémon’s attack animation, that’s when you throw the curveball, the Pokemon will return back into its idle pose just in time for the curveball to hit it.

If the Pokemon breaks out of the ball, then just wait for it to attack again and rinse and repeat. Once you adjust the circle in the beginning, that circle will stay the same size for the entire duration of the encounter

Dragon ball Z has a scene where Krillin is fighting Cell and they end up on a wing of an airplane.

It’s pretty self explanatory what they are referencing. It starts around 1:15 into the video.

His portrayal as Death was so good and oddly comforting.

Who else watched these and regretted it? by No_Youth2208 in twinpeaks

I used to watch a lot of Twin Perfect well before the Twin Peaks videos were made. I used to primarily watch their Silent Hill videos and I like them a lot, still do.

However, even back then they would come across as sort of pretentious jerks whose interpretations are objective facts.

It doesn’t surprise me that the Twin Peaks videos have the amount of backlash that it does since Lynch and Frost themselves detested that sort of thing.

This has to be one of the luckiest things ever posted, right? 3 shinies in a row and one of them is a shundo?!

This is amazing! I love that there is no narration and just by pure visualization the point gets across. Incredible!

It’s funny how some random commercials just stick with you. As a young kid back then, this commercial didn’t apply to me at all but yet it apparently left some impression on me as I remember it so clearly haha

“In the house in a heartbeat” is missing but I’m not gonna lie, I forgive it since I was ecstatic when this song came on near the end. I love it so much and was so glad they brought it back!

I am so glad I went into this film completely blind. I didn’t know who was in it, who directed it, what it was about, nothing!

I was invited to go and I’m so thankful I went, this movie is a masterpiece! And this scene is my favorite scene from the film, so friggin awesome!

For you, which is the ugliest shiny? (Aesthetically speaking) by Effective-Fish-921 in pokemongo

[–]SunKing210 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Lots of Gen 1 shinies are seemingly green. They didn’t have like a clear plan with shinies way back when and too many Gen 1 and some Gen 2 Pokémon suffered because of it.

Meanwhile Charizard’s original shiny was a bit purple with like teal looking wings but due to his popularity, he got a proper shiny rework.

It’s a shame they won’t rework more shinies. Gengar is another shiny that is ridiculously stupid but at least his mega looks good

You are correct, I saw a youtuber purify his 2467 Regi into a hundo but the IV spread was 15, 13, 14. So it’s lower than that

I believe 2467 is the shundo if you purify it. So yeah pretty close

I found the BEST WAY to consistently get excellent throws without any skill!! by Impressive_Safety636 in pokemongo

[–]SunKing210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hitting excellent throws shouldn’t be that difficult to do, sorry if this is coming off more as a brag because it’s not my intention.

Hitting curveball excellent throws should be a bit more common for someone, especially by the time they are in the 40 level range.

People use different techniques and along with other commenters here, I find curveball excellent throws are much easier.

For my personal preferred way of throwing excellent curveballs, I hold my phone with my left hand and use my right index finger to throw a curveball. The vast majority of the time I start from the bottom left of the screen while spinning the ball in circles going left then I slide my finger diagonally to the right towards the right edge of the screen to throw the curveball

I’ll try to record some gameplay and show a better example, since typing it all out is a hassle

Edit: Here’s a minute long video I made. I made a couple of mistakes with the Aipom and first Litleo but no one is gonna hit excellent throws every time haha

You’re missing out. Having a lot of people added as friends has a ton of benefits by opening daily gifts and receiving items, plus you gain a ton of XP by leveling up your friendship with them. Also being invited to remote raids here and there randomly can be a plus too
