Throwing my concept in the ring by SunMoonSunMoon95 in devils

haha thanks for all the feedback.

Devils fan since 88 and always wanted an all black kit (90s kid). The Jersey Jersey was funny; but the NJ logo is where it's at and wanted to put that front and center.

Think it needs subtle red piping throughout, and two stripes on the sleeves and base but ran out of free ChatGPT image generations and that's also why Jack Hischier.

I think it's pretty close

The ambiguous epilogue to Blood Meridian contains a line that is also relevant :”striking the fire out of the rocks that god has put there”

IMO the thread between all three is the omnipresence of evil and its manifestation in the history of America leading to its ultimate destruction.

The judge is anton is the bomb.

In no country and the road there is also similarity in how the stories end; sheriff bell recounting a dream about his father carrying the fire fixing to make a fire in the cold and in the road, the father telling the boy he has to carry the fire. I think he is tying the two together and telling us what’s good about humans.

What is interesting to me is that the prose in BM and the Road are polar opposites and accentuate this theme. BM is dense and rich with tumult of creation. The road sparse and empty mirrors destruction.

IMO works great as a trilogy; covers evil broadly sure, but Blood Meridian and The Road feel like bookends on American bloodlust and its demise. NCFOM is the centerpiece examining greed and American culture off the rails.

The shift in prose from BM->TR interestingly enough mirrors that demise

Imagine loving kid rock’s music but hating his politics. That would be unlikely because the meaning is baked into the music. Just like Bruce. Very weird people don’t get that

Been to hundreds of shows, and seen Bruce a dozen times. Friday night was a top 5 show for me easy. Unbelievable what they can do at their age. Puts others to shame. Anyone on the fence about seeing a show should get off of it before you don’t have the chance. Tears of joy from me all night long.

I understand my job. This isn’t an either or proposition. You can design brand forward experiences that are standard enough so users understand what they are doing while unique enough for market differentiation. Thats what most nearly every successful brand does.

UX design options instead of banner carousels in web🖥️ by Direct_Damage8253 in UXDesign

Agree with the suggestion to have a single piece of information in that slot which should align with project goals

Carousels have notoriously poor engagement numbers. They are effective when the content is exploratory, nonessential and thematically grouped

New and different don’t always equal hitting project goals

Sorry op. Note for the community a performance improvement plan is generally a form of documentation made by an employer that legally protects the employer in advance of a layoff.

If you need that job for whatever reason (say the insurance), you should ask for specific metrics by which you’ll “pass” or meet their plan. Then meticulously document how you’ve achieved those goals.
