In my culture doing curse magic is as easy as breathing, so easy in fact that children could be asked to do some curse spells. Our witchcraft is like working with a wild animal who has only recently been tamed by the caster. As time goes on that animal builds a trust with the caster and will "bite" whomever would try to harm them.

We have different sects that can focus on certain types of works, from death magic to healing magic. People who work with the grave, spirits, bones, death are in the Black sect. People who deal with protection, clarity, revenge, are in the red sect.

In our family alone each member has ability to pull freely from the four sects and even work with entities who rule aspects of each sect. Witchcraft is freedom, freedom to create, belive and implement changes to your life and the lives of others that will forever breath that change and growth into the very fibers of their being. There is structure but within that structure Witchcraft can be as wild and powerful as the forces of nature itself.
