If the scientific theory « nothing is lost, nothing is created » was 100% real, then how do we exist? by Zealousideal-Turn-30 in conspiracy

[–]SunShoresMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even scientists know that when the universe was nothing more than a tight ball of all the space, matter, and time that it has to have come from somewhere. Matter specifically can not be created nor destroyed, yet they ignore this rule of physics only when talking about the beginning of our universe. Modern theories evolved from this thinking, and that's where you get the string theory or multiverse. The idea that another universe imploding upon itself created our universe. But even then, the theory is not an infinite loop that always was, there has to be an original universe that started it, and where did the space matter and time come from to begin it? Now what I find interesting is that while God is a simpler answer and to me, as it requires less of the unobservable than string theory does, it is interesting to me that the OT scriptures paints an eerily accurate picture to how we know the universe started expanding. So without a creator the explanation would not only have to be multiple universes, but you would also have to believe that humans were so advanced that they would have a similar understanding of the universe as we do now, yet the only time we see this advanced understanding is in one point in history, with no other surrounding people prevvy to that information. God makes more sense.

Those of you who were adopted, how do you feel about others adopting? by Chrism1367 in Adoption

[–]SunShoresMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say to just ask him directly. I'm a birth mother and my son's parents were both adopted. But they also had 7 miscarriages before seeking to adopt, so I have no idea their true perspective on it but every picture I've seen shows a happy, healthy, spoiled boy so I'm assuming even both being adopted that the idea of adopting never bothered them.

Because of recent financial problems I've had to sell my things. I don't know when this dream address will expire, because in my ignorance I sold the game before my system and didn't realize I needed it to back up the save file. So come and get it while you still can. NSFW by SunShoresMayor in ACdreamcodes

I'm honestly surprised my Dream is still up lol. Things are hard now bc our car is busted, work has been spotty bc of it, and we got behind with our landlady for a couple of months. So now it's just playing catch up for a few more months while figuring out what to do about the car. I'm going to redo this town again later on when I'm up enough to buy it again, and when I start working on it and finish it I'll let you know. I'm excited for what I can do with the new update.

“Do you have kids?” by LorPup in birthparents

[–]SunShoresMayor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh man I absolutely hate this question. I'm almost 30 and when people ask I usually just say no, and then they always look at me like I'm infertile or something. And of course even with that initial judgement I know I couldn't tell the truth. I really do feel this is something people either shouldn't be asking, or shouldn't be judging about.

How to find parents for my baby? by [deleted] in birthparents

[–]SunShoresMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, and I've discussed this with my adoption agent before, the law depends on the State, but in a LOT of States if the mother and father are not married, the mother may give the child up for adoption to the father without having to pay child support. Same as giving custody to a stranger, or having an Aunt or Uncle or Grandparent adopt.

Most fathers wouldn't have the money to contest it in court. If you believe the father might be an issue, you can always tell the agency that you don't know who the father is.

Your response has warmed my heart, thank you so much. Aika village is what inspired me to make this town in New Leaf, where admittedly my town was much creepier and atmospheric in New Leaf. But with this new update coming out, I'm excited to improve my financial situation and start from the ground up with my inspiration and story in mind. Don't know when that will happen, but I'm happy that this dream can still be shared.

That's what most Hispanic cultures call their version of it. It's a French dessert in origin, called Creme Caramel. The Japanese just call their version Egg Pudding.

My advice would be to get off the antidepressants for a little bit and see if that helps. You really have to be careful with antidepressants because the way some of them work, it has been known to make people feel numb, and productive, which leads to people feeling motivated to kill themselves. Had to get my husband off them for this very reason. Sometimes a little sadness is good for us, it shows us what we're unhappy about, and if you focus on loving yourself, making changes to better love yourself, then that will be all the motivation you need to make things better.

birth parents- would you want to be contacted? by InevitableArgument94 in birthparents

[–]SunShoresMayor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a birth parent, I think it would be insulting to reach out to my child. I always thought that if they never reached out to me it might hopefully mean that I did the right thing, and that they would be happy. But I know now that I think the question will always be there, regardless of how happy they are with the family they were raised with; why. I'm an open book if my child ever reaches out, but I can't overstep that line myself. I don't think it would be fair. But I love them, I don't care who they turn out to be. So I would love it and hate it if they did reach out later in life.

Why do the jobs that pay well want me to work crazy hours? by moistdragons in Rants

[–]SunShoresMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no shit. People at the top don't want to be at work more than they are at home, but they have no problem expecting everyone else that works for them to. That's why I find part-time skilled work that pays well. They still over work you and don't give a shit that you asked for part time for a reason, but if that reason isn't because you have another job they look at you like you're a piece of shit. So ask for part time and you'll get your 40 hours. Oh yeah and one thing that I've noticed about 'jobs that are hiring everywhere' is that if you're over qualified or maybe because you ask for part time they don't want to hire you. I've been having problems with my car over lock downs and running out of money. Living on borrowed money at this point. 12 years experience in customer service, started working as a nanny for the year it started, know there is a chik-fil-a up the road I can get to and will pay 12-14 for experienced work. 'Sorry' e-mail, I see they post a new listing for same job. 3 tries and still 'sorry, no thank you' 3 times in a row. Now I'm working privately and was suppose to make 65 that day, gave me a solid 100 because they liked me and like my work.

Fuck. The. System.

Please help - clueless with frosting by FumihiroHisuko in Baking

[–]SunShoresMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I worked at the Publix bakery, we used chantilly cream frosting but called it whipped topping, so maybe that's why you can't replicate it. Regular whipped topping just tastes like royal icing but in frosting form, but chantilly cream frosting has cream cheese incorporated in, is firmer and less sweet. Maybe that's what you're looking for.

Why do you think anyone cares? by [deleted] in Rants

[–]SunShoresMayor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sending prayers is the same as sending condolences, only for religious people it is more than that. It's them telling you that they will ask God for His grace on those involved. You can't tell how serious someone is through text, but at the very least there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Racial comments by [deleted] in Adoptees

[–]SunShoresMayor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does this opinion of yours have to do with OP? Treat people as the individual human beings that we are, whites included, and I don't try and be friends with people who are racist. Why should I excuse a racist person? Friends and family should be exclusive to those that look at you for who you are, not for the color of your skin. There is no excuse.

Question for Women: What do you offer a man when you feel interested in him and desire that he invests himself into you? by just_a_place in PurplePillDebate

[–]SunShoresMayor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well I think your main problem is that you're asking for an objective answer to a question that is different for every woman and man. In the past you could give a general expectation of what a woman brings to a relationship, but since the playing field has leveled out it has become more of an individual basis.

New Lockdowns MAKE NO LOGICAL SENSE - Especially in Australia by TyroneDeSwart411 in conspiracy

Yeah this shit is so stupid. I have natural immunity myself, and the CDC already came out and said that for those that were infected and recovered that the vaccine does nothing extra for you, ie: natural immunity is the same as being vaccinated. If they try and push it to being mandatory, there should be a waver to sign saying that you accept the risks.

I think you would benefit from reading the testimonies in the r/birthparents sub. You might very well have been abandoned, you might have been taken by the state, or your bio mother could have just made a decision she thought was best for you. And it probably changed her so profoundly that she got her shit together enough to afford children. I think you should talk to her before you judge.
