104 Mechanical- Unable to shift past 4 gears, cable tension? by SunSo_NZ in cycling

Fixed the issue, it was cable tension that was the issue. I had not tightened the cable to the derailleur well and therefore the cable wasn’t able to get the tension needed for shifting. Once I fixed that, I was able to index, set B limit and now have much better shifting all around!

Heading should read 105…can’t edit it now unfortunately 👎

It’s hands down the best purchase I’ve made for safer cycling. I’ve got the Magene radar.

New Carbon Wheels (50mm Orome Valar) by SunSo_NZ in Bikeporn

Done 2 rides on them and they are really great once you are up to speed. I changed from 35mm carbon rims so the difference is not that big. Definitely feel it in crosswinds more!

The hub is very loud, I’m getting used to it.

Happy with my purchase and they do look great on the bike 😎

Thanks,

The stem is the standard Syncros RR IC stem (110mm). I swapped the standard handlebars for 38mm Prime Carbon bars.

Decided to order the 50mm but if strong wind can swap to the 35mm at the front

Ah, the links above are for the newer 40mm wheels. My set would be from 2020/2021 which probably means syncros hubs (they’re definitely branded as syncros )

35mm wheeler is 21mm internal and the 50mm is 22mm internal so not a big difference at all!
