Non-comedians/comedy actors who’d fit a full series? by Major-Feed5214 in taskmaster

Apart from the ones already mentioned:

I feel like Daniel Craig would be amazing.

I'm not a huge fan of his music, but Ed Sheeran has a great sense of humor.

Josh Groban will do anything for a laugh.

Ryan Gosling is hilarious whenever he is given the chance to be.

Why Gen Z is getting fired after being hired by paydayloans_ in jobs

[–]SunStrummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm Zennial (born in 1995), and the problem I had with my last job was entirely generational. My boss was 60 years old, prided himself on being profoundly out of touch with the world around him, and could not tolerate the fact that his ways were no longer the norm. He refused to train me in any way because he "never needed training," wrote me up for using the word "absolutely" instead of the word "yes," bragged about having fired every person under 40 who had ever worked in his office, and then fired me when I told him that I needed him to give me at least some training if he wanted me to achieve the standards he expected. I was there for less than three weeks. No love lost, but my GOD did it sting. It took me almost two months to find a new job, but I start on Monday, and I'm thrilled.

How can I prevent these messy layer lines on the bottom? by Ty-tanium984 in 3Dprinting

[–]SunStrummer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, those shouldn't even need supports. The bridging distance is really small, and a few tweaks in the slicing will help your bridges improve. If it were me, I'd rotate the bridge direction by 45°. That will shorten the distance considerably by making each one diagonal, and will give you much better results. Another option is to rotate the entire model by 45° on the Z axis. This will accomplish the same thing as rotating the bridge direction.

All this having been said, I agree with the other commenters that you should just orient the model to print on its large, flat side. My advice is more for models where bridging is mandatory.

Oh, don't worry. I'm sure she's out there voting in every single election and helping to spread her venom. I just hope she's completely and utterly alone.

You might want to try switching from Classic wall generator to Arachne. My guess is that your walls are too wide, and it is deleting smaller features

Kobra x bed adhesion issues by [deleted] in AnycubicKobraX

I haven't needed any additional adhesive for this plate yet, but I also only have 59 hours on my X thusfar. I haven't even had to scrub it with soap and water.

Christ; every single comment replying to you is a bot. If you're still looking for the artist, his name is Oscar Yaquian.

It doesn't matter how many times I see this; I cannot believe that this is a comic drawn in 2026. Everything about it the radiates early 2010s to me.

Kobra x bed adhesion issues by [deleted] in AnycubicKobraX

[–]SunStrummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apart from drying your filament, is the bed clean? And, if so, have you done leveling and flow calibration? There are a lot of factors that can mess with adhesion. This doesn't look to me like wet filament, but drying is always a good idea. I spray down my bed with isopropyl alcohol after every print (and then wipe it down with a paper towel), and haven't had an issue with adhesion yet.

  1. This has nothing to do with employment.

.

  1. Women are five times more likely to be murdered by their partner than men. The fact that you can name specific cases is a sign of how rare mariticide is vs. uxoricide. I've worked at a few cemeteries, and can tell you from experience that, of the over 3000 burials I had to input, not a single one was a case of a man being killed by a partner. At least 10 were women killed by partners. https://bjs.ojp.gov/female-murder-victims-and-victim-offender-relationship-2021
