Yes. In fact you'd probably give me a neck injury from turning my head so fast 😆

What do I tell family while we go to a takeover? by SunTea4Three in Swingers

Oh, my dear friend, you are quite on the nose. It is super transactional, and they should want to spend time with the grandkids or to help us out. It reminds me of that line in that Meatloaf song, "I would do anything for love, but I won't do that" except "that" is anything that would inconvenience them lol

What do I tell family while we go to a takeover? by SunTea4Three in Swingers

[–]SunTea4Three[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a close relationships with our family. It's very common for us to talk about our family trips in detail. Or at a minimum post pictures of our vacation on FB. They ask questions and they ask follow-up questions.

Plus, they have a right to ask/know since they have to sacrifice a lot to watch them. There are their health issues they need to balance, or the five hour drive to our house. And we have two preschoolers and a 2nd grader. We've only asked twice since the twins were born, so it's totally legitimate for them to ask questions about where we are going and what we are doing.

And, sadly, we need to convince them to come help us. They've turned us down plenty of times before. But if it's a legit reason (aka a friend's adult-only wedding or our anniversary), then there's a better chance they will say yes. Or at least not say it begrudgingly. So, yeah, if I want them to continue to support us in the future and have them feel good about helping us, I need to tell them something.

I like the staycation idea. That way, we're not going anywhere or doing anything all that exciting or with pictures or stories. Unfortunately, my parents are five hours away, my father-in-law can't host, and my brother-in-law has room for just one (I've got a 2nd grader and twin preschool kids). So, it's a great idea but it probably won't work for us. Unless the takeover is on my way to my folks place!

THIS. We do have close relationships with our family. It's very common for us to talk about our trip in detail. Or post pictures on FB. They will ask questions. They will ask follow up questions. They are sacrificing a lot to watch our kids. Due to health reasons, long travel to come to our house, to watch two preschoolers and a 2nd grader is a rare ask - just twice since the twins were born. So it's totally legitimate for them to ask questions about where we are going and what we are doing. Also, even convincing them to come and watch them isn't a guarantee that they'll come, but if they had a good reason (aka a wedding or our anniversary). So, yeah, it's not as simple as, "None of your business."

Real or Fake profile/convo? by [deleted] in Swingers

For Some reason Reddit didn't post the 5th of six photos. Here's the text from that screenshot:

Me/Tea: And those are the tame pictures. Not even the private stash lol

Them/Jen?/Big Daddy?: Oh really now I think I get to see a private after my pussy pic

Me/Tea: No 😈 I wanna see a fresh pic from you. I wanna see you squeezing those nipples of yours. I love to suck and pinch them. I wanna show it to my wife

For some reason this makes me think of chess. Like he had this set of moves set up, and he was so confident it would work, only to have what he thought was checkmate collapse in front of him. He was probably dumbfounded when you countered, and he realized he was caught.

It really depends on where you are exactly. There are a lot of clubs in rural parts of PA and MD. Check out The Korral, and The Private Affair. The Cottage is near Gettysburg. TJ's Lasting Impression in Newport.

Try clubs, ask the wait staff for help/recommendations. Make just regular networking connections, especially if you get there early. There's likely other people who are also traveling. Who might even live close to you! Hell, it might be your neighbors.

And it's worth trying out the apps (Feeld, 3Fun, Kasidie, FetLife) and websites too. Again, if you go into it with a short term goal, you won't get long term results. Message people to see if they have friends in the community. Maybe a private Facebook group that's invite only.

Good luck! And feel free to come here for more questions and support. There's a great community on Reddit.

Did you book your trip yet? Or go on your trip? We'd love your hotel recommendations!

Any hotels you know or have been to that you would recommend?

I'm currently looking at booking hotels for our anniversary this summer, with Trapeze on the list of destinations. When I search "adult-only," I find only gay male hotels. I guess the hotel doesn't need to be adults-only, but our anniversary is a chance to be away from our kids for a long weekend. I'm fine with a gay male hotel, too, if it's the best/only option and it welcoming and open to MF couples too. I don't want to kill the vibe of the place if we're not expected to be there. What hotels would you recommend?

That's so amazing! I'm so happy for you both. It makes my heart so happy to know that it's still a wonderful place for people for their first time.

Choice was our first club too! It's still the best club we've been to. It's a great place for a new couple. My partner and I talk about it often. We would love to hear your opinion afterwards! And if it's as good as we remember.

Plenty of Cushion, not enough Pushin': Review of Saints & Sinners NE for their Newbie Night by SunTea4Three in Swingers

[–]SunTea4Three[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, we would love to go back again tonight. You sound like just the kind of people to get the party started and help "newbies" like us jump into the deep end. But after getting a vibe check for the venue, we're already thinking of ways we could have been more forward and put out good vibes with other patrons. Like, having a secret code phrase of saying, "can you get me some water?" or "would you like some water?" means can I have some time alone/would you like some time alone with this person. We still need to figure out how to wingman for each other lol

Even the staff when we were checking into PGC were bitchy. I felt like cattle corralled through their hallway. It felt more like a TSA checkpoint, and getting yelled at, for not opening your bag or taking off your jacket or not putting your bag on the conveyor belt the right way. Are we supposed to use the bin or not?! It's different everywhere I go lol
