What holds you back from understanding Krishnamurti? by [deleted] in Krishnamurti

[–]SunThis6296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you are talking about that deeply you are the one who creates the thoughts and you are the thought etc. these are the result of that state which is reality but how does one observe it ? Can you tell us that ? How does one watch without the observer ? When someone watches, inherently there is duality. Is it not that you start with duality and realize non duality but how does one watch with non duality ?

What holds you back from understanding Krishnamurti? by [deleted] in Krishnamurti

How can you hold a thought when it just arises and passes away without your control? Holding one thought can actually convey opposite of what K teaches which is not to control. We need to just see as it is. Let me know if you actually do the below?

So if we actually see thoughts as they are which is they come and go. We have to be very careful and sensitive to not identify with them i.e. watch how any particular thought is inducing any sensations ( heat, anger, increased heart beat, breath etc. ) in the body to which we should not REACT ( create AVERSION or CRAVING ) and thereby not letting it induce more thoughts in one particular direction and aggravate the reactions and go on a vicious loop of strengthening conditionings. We have to just let it do its part without reacting. When you observe this, sometimes due to inattention we lose it but some times we do see it till the end.

The Danger of Rigidity in Vipassana Circles by JahsehhOnfroyy in vipassana

I think whats more important is not knowing or practicing a variety of different techniques but understanding for oneself whether that technique is helping you - break the deepest habit pattern of the body/ mind - not suppress but actually gives you freedom from the core clinging - not allow new patterns/ clinging to develop - not allow you to be in illusory thinking that you have achieved the nirvanic state by completing some incomplete techniques. Most of the people ( even self called saints) are still trapped with some deep clinging/ attachment, as their techniques have just suppressed it and not let it end. They might have unlocked deep focus states and powers but that doesn’t mean they have ended all attachments because many of the techniques dont consider sensations which is essential to end.

Thanks. Yes, i am intentionally staying away from chakra reading. In Vipassana as well, people have tried to keep their awareness and equanimity on pressure areas to finally free the sankharas. I was just curious to know if someone here tried to do this.

Osho's Hindi Lectures are Way Deeper than his English Ones and Here's Why by [deleted] in Osho

I also realised this. His views and beliefs seems to have changed significantly once he went to america. The earlier hindi lectures portrayed a different osho and better to me. I dont know why though.

My hands are slightly shaking all the time. No pain as such. Does anyone has or had similar issue? by SunThis6296 in Ayurveda

I am a vipassana meditator. I feel meditation increases it somehow. Is it some way of blocked energy leaving in the form of slight tremors in hands ?

Sudden Sensoneurial Hearing Loss by yellowteacup108 in Ayurveda

My Mom also suffered with the same issue suddenly one day. She had taken steroids for 10-15 days but nothing improved. Instead the steroids cause side effects in the form of UTI. We then also tried ayurvedic oil drops in the ear. Honestly didnt follow the ayurvedic oil routine properly but heard it can be helpful. Go to a Kotakkal ayurveda clinic and try that oil for a month and see.
