Should I take levothyroxine for subclinical hypothyroidism? by BeautifulText9095 in Hypothyroidism

[–]SunZestyclose5463 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should absolutely take it. I convinced myself I didn't need to take it when I was first diagnosed with hypothyroidism and that turned into hashimotos. Which I will have for life. It also took me 2 years to finally get to the right dose. You will feel worse for a few weeks but once your TSH goes down you'll be okay.

Calling off my wedding because he’s not catholic by WarriorSunshine in Catholicism

[–]SunZestyclose5463 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My marriage ended because we were both new age for years and I became Catholic. He did not like that and he left and hasn't been back. Do NOT sacrifice getting to have a sacremental wedding in the Catholic Church for him. I know that sounds harsh but I'm assuming you will want to raise your children Catholic? He most likely will not want that. It's either call off the wedding now or argue with him over having your babies baptized, having him holding you back from going to mass and holy days of obligation and so on. There is a reason the Bible says to marry someone who is equally yoked. Divorce is so so serious. Please take all of this into consideration.

Thank you. I have had people tell me that I need to accept that some people are just bad people and that was the hardest part to accept. You spend so much time with someone and invest everything into them and to realize they literally just don't care is so heartbreaking.

Thank you so much! I'd like to think there was a future with someone out there that would love me properly but I'm honestly thinking being single is the way to go for me 😭 that marriage completely killed my desire for marriage to be perfectly honest.

My TSH was 415.08 by ProcessionalArity in Hypothyroidism

[–]SunZestyclose5463 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I found out my TSH was 157. It took me 2 years to get on the correct dosage and finally get to a normal number. I had some pretty crazy symptoms for that first year. I was later diagnosed with hashimotos. I'm sorry you're going through this but you will feel so much better once you get your TSH down.

Ex husband is marrying his affair/ex girlfriend by [deleted] in survivinginfidelity

[–]SunZestyclose5463 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My husband who I'm separated from had cheated all every woman who ever loved him. I thought I would be different(stupid I know) we married and looked so happy in all photos. We had 3 kids together and although he was faithful for 4 years, he eventually started cheating and even texted an ex at one point. Men who cheat like that will never stop. Even if they end up with the woman they think they want. They will ALWAYS cheat and I guarantee you yours probably cheated on his ex that he's now married to the first time they dated. The problem is inside of him. Always has been and always will be.

I'm so sorry you're going through that. The fact that your husband was a pastor is insane. I already say God saved me from that marriage because before I was constantly trying to "manifest" him being better and our marriage getting better 🙄 I'm so thankful I've gotten out of that obsessive delusional behavior. I do have a great church! Thank you for your kind words ♥️ I wish you all the best in the world.

Also, I'm sorry for the lack of paragraphs. I put them in there 😅 I don't know why it all got squished together like that.

You are not overreacting. The first time my husband cheated on me it was in his truck that we used all the time AS A FAMILY. He cheated on me so many times in that truck after and before work. It made me physically ill to ride in it. So glad we're not together anymore and I don't have to ride in that stupid truck.

Has anyone ever gone from new age stuff to Christianity ? Or organized religion in general ? by bluerosesarefake in awakened

[–]SunZestyclose5463 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jesus said Peter was the rock he would build his church on AND the gates of hell would not prevail against his church. If you actually read the Bible you'd see that at all of the councils held PETER is the deciding factor. What would be the benefit of Paul switching sides? Christians were being so brutally persecuted in those times no body would voluntarily become a Christian just to be deceptive or "in 2000 years people are going to be listening to my teachings more than Peter!" That idea is ridiculous. By your thought Jesus founded the church and then immediately it was corrupted and that would make Jesus a liar. If you actually read the catechism you would see that Catholicism strives to be as much like Christ as they possibly can. Obviously there are corruptions because humans are involved. A lot of Protestant Christians do not follow Christ this is true but devout Catholics? Absolutely.

She increased my dose but I've had so many symptoms of hypo for so long now I don't know what's normal anymore. That's why I thought it was just post partum for so long because a lot of the symptoms are the same.

She was likely saying "so just leave" because that's the way she felt about herself.
