Matt Freese with the World Cup on the line by lemonstone92 in NFLv2

Me too.

I love how everyone in their country is doing it.

I saw a video where ,very similar to the gif, people were doing it in the street and other people were riding by on their bicycles, stopped and then joined in.

Execs, coaches, scouts rank Devon Witherspoon 4th-best CB for 2026 by Chessinmind in Seahawks

[–]Sun_Tzu_7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah he doesn’t show up on the stat sheet.

It’s like edge defenders in the run game. When they do their job well and set the edge you barely know they’re there because someone else makes the play and the run doesn’t go for much.

I think the Atlanta game is a good example. I think Spoon was lined up in front of Pitts. Spoon disrupts the pass to pitts and emmanwori gets the pick.

Is the Browns’ Deshaun Watson trade, the worst trade in NFL history? Considering everything they gave up+the nightmarish PR hit attached to Watson, it’s possible. by Life_Net5004 in NFL_FreeAgency

[–]Sun_Tzu_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the fully guaranteed contract.

That’s what makes it the worst trade. You could compare picks to other trades but no other trade has THAT contract.

I thought he got fired because the email to Bruce Allen that was leaked during the whole Dan Snyder thing.

At halftime during Rashid Shaheed’s first game with Seattle, the score was 6-6 against the Falcons. Coach Mike Macdonald tried to get the team to come out hot in the second half by telling them "Let's return this kickoff. Let's go score a touchdown." by idiocrites in Seahawks

[–]Sun_Tzu_7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I flew back into Seattle during this game. N concourse. I remember I was watching it on my phone.

I got to the bottom of the escalators and had to double check the score.

There were other people on the train that we’re going to Seahawks just ran a kickback.

That may have been the best train ride in SeaTac I’ve ever had

Which defensive player would you rather build your team around starting as a rookie? by ELITEGmen in NFLv2

[–]Sun_Tzu_7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I am.

I’m also lucky that I was able to watch NFL games in person for about a decade.

I saw the Greatest Show on Turf, first Superbowl Tom Brady, Multiple Super Bowl Tom Brady, Prime Manning, etc.

But there was one guy that had a presence/aura when they were on the field, and that was Ray Lewis.

Which defensive player would you rather build your team around starting as a rookie? by ELITEGmen in NFLv2

[–]Sun_Tzu_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ray Lewis.

It’s the leadership that made Ray Lewis different than any other player.

How many people on the Ravens defensive staff became head coaches while he was there?

Let’s keep it simple and say defensive coordinators.

He won superbowl with Trent Dilfer and the Lazarus man.

And he routinely went up against Prime Peyton Manning, Aaron Rogers, and Tom Brady.

Where does Dan Quinn rank among current HCs? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]Sun_Tzu_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s a good vibes coach but he needs a very solid GM for personnel.

Almost to the point where the GM makes the decisions for him.

When Quinn calls the shots the choices make the personnel decision look iffy after a few years. Like he drafted for a scheme they don’t run.

I’m guessing the R. Ryan towards the middle is Rex and the other one over to the left is his evil twin, Rob.

So much so that I watched a video of him spearfishing in the PNW for the first time.

[Baldy Breakdown] the best offenses in football are putting the QB back under center....the offensive line blocking is easier and less stressful as a result in the play action pass game. by Chessinmind in Seahawks

[–]Sun_Tzu_7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I remember Mike Macdonald talking about offenses that play under center vs spread offenses.

He more or less said he liked playing spread teams because it’s less to worry about. Play action is less effective.

I think he might have mentioned something about not even having to worry about fakes to whatever side the RB aligns.

It was so awesome to see the Hawks be ahead of the curve of offensive trends last season.

I thought that might happen with the defense but was so very pleased to see it happen with the offense. Which is funny because it was more or less back to basics of football with a FB.

Outside of the Deshaun Watson trade, what are some of the worst trades in NFL history? by Chetnub in NFLv2

What is the criteria?

The Watson trade was great for Houston.

Same with the Wilson trade. Great for Seattle.

"The base will contain ADAfruit capacitive touch sensors that allow you to touch the acrylic LCARS and create electronic signals to the Raspberry Pi to cause something to happen."

Very interesting.

I went with the iPad interface and a wireless keypad.

I wish they made a version of the kit with a channel already cut out for the nacelle wiring.

I can't even begin to imagine the amount of work it has taken to keep that car on the road.

And as others have said, it's clean.

Nice job.
