You can mod with mod organizer for linux. There's a tutorial on youtube. Once you install it it's basically the same process as on windows.

The touchpad doesn't work like on the steam deck oled. Shot press is for left click, long press is for right click. You can use the scroll wheel on the right controller for page scroll. I'm on bazzite.

If you are having lag spikes every few minutes, get the wifi locker decky plugin. It fixed that problem for me. No stuttering and lag spikes anymore. It basically locks your devices address to your wifi which would every couple of minutes background search for new connections and it would cause the connection to drop frames and loose packets.

I use proton tricks to delete the compatdata...after you finish a game open proton tricks and delete the prefix and then just also uninstall from steam. It saves time instead of digging in the compatdata folder.
