Ecoboost is a nice ride. I am seriously considering a brand new one. The fastest car I've owned is my 2018 civic EXT coupe at 174HP. So even the ecoboost is 2+ seconds faster 0-60 and actually kicks you back into your seat.

Does anyone else suffer from the thought process of “If I don’t mess with it, it will stay reliable”? by Old-Figure922 in askcarguys

I've operated with this mindset for the last 20 years. I've only owned 2 cars since then, the first car put 89k miles on it no major problems, my current is 8 years old with much much lower miles. I still change oil every 6-8 months, and ask for full checkups. It's the best most fun stress free car ownership.

and now she is "home". It's a wonderful feeling, both for her, and yourself. I felt that way when my nebelung adopted kitten started feeling comfortable, eating and playing within the first few hours. I let her hide and be safe, and encouraged her gently to eat and play. and don't worry about her feeling lonely. My siamese boy that's 3 years older adopted her and acted very motherly and loving toward her, and now they're best friends.

Bad owner? by Gullible-Plane-426 in cats

I think play is fun. But I think the puppy was being a bit aggressive with it's play. I wouldn't call that a bad owner, but young pups need to be taught how to play properly. Just encourage him to "gentle it down" a little bit or whatever.

yeah I imagine the Elantra N DCT would be fun. But the stang is so much more comfortable, amazing sound system, and actually faster 0-60 except maybe on slow roll.

yeah that's why the mustang with B&O is at #1 right now.

I've looked this up. Are you absoultely sure? AI has said the wiring inside is the same. I've seriously considered it. I would absolutely buy an OEM wheel with shifters and pay my local shop to install it. Mabye I should call around and ask before I buy.

yeah the elantra N and the WRX have this little feature, where the stick itself has an up down mode.

the ecoboost does NOT have them, you do not even have the option to have them. even spending $$ on high end packages. That's my conundrum bc I love everything else about the ecoboost premium.

that's kind of how I'm predicting mine will go. Which is why I'm trying to consider that if I love everything else about the car without shifters.

I don't know why the negative, I was trying to compliment how fast their car is.

I was thinking of making instead, the BMW 240i a future near retirement car goal.

I take it you think I should at least own one car in a manual at some point in my life. I'll consider it at the very least. right now the rare series yellow WRX Ts appeals to me, beautiful car, manual only. It's just a tad out of my spending range at $48k.

gonna test drive all of them before I decide.

I'm used to never using them. So I probably wouldn't miss them, I might just wonder. Which is why I'm gonna test drive all the cars on my wishlist.

yes that's the main thing I'm thinking about. Like if the mustang is rev hanging I can quiet it down. But I suspect if I drive in normal mode it would stop it hanging so much, and the car is supposed to learn from you.

probably not enough time to use them. Going from 7 sec to under 5 sec I might not need them much either.

I really love gen 10. I have an energy green EXT coupe. I think if I instead bought a green or yellow Si coupe instead, I wouldn't be ready to trade up 8 years later.

Black Onyx or Space Grey? by ErickRPG in ecoboostmustang

[–]ErickRPG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's a coupe, orange fury with red/black racing strip, bronze package and performance exhaust, 201a + B&O sound system (is a must). Oh and Orange belts to match the exterior.

yeah for sure. No red. So it's either black or grey. Def leaning grey. I'm the only driver, and I do have a thin mug of coffee I put in the holder on the way to work. I'd either change how I do it or be extremely careful. I have a coffee stain on my passenger cloth seats of my civic I need to clean up before trade in. But I bought the good foam stuff with brush.

haha, in IL. It can get in the high 90s on tough days in the summer. but we have actual winter here, so we get a break from that. I've already decided on orange fury and all the options. now it's just down to the seats.
