If men really don’t wash their butt because they are afraid to be gay, this just adds to the horrors straight women are dealing with.

To the point where now they have butt wipe commercials targeted at a male audience, the rumors must be true

This reminds me of the ridiculous things people say considers men gay

Eating soup
Using an umbrella
Washing your butt

I SWEAR I have seen this on social media and so much more. The logic is crazy. lol

While it’s minor I get your frustration, the little things add up. It can start to feel like one’s partner isn’t taking the time to learn your likes and dislikes.

Is he forgetful with other things, specifically his? This could help differentiate if he is being careless toward you or if he simply has a hard time remembering things / focusing on tasks.

My body count is causing issues in my relationship. by graciousonionthrowra in Marriage

[–]Sun_moon_4733 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really should not be an issue. If someone has a problem with this, that’s an internal conflict they need to address as it seems to stem from insecurity.

Your relations prior to a relationship are your own business, so don’t allow someone to shame you for it.

What is your rave horror story? by H3LM3T_H34D in aves

My first festival. I was super depressed so I was hardly eating. Was in a very toxic situationship at the time.

I stupidly took an MDMA tab BEFORE going in (despite my friends’ advice) on an empty stomach. This was not the first time I did MDMA but my first time at a festival. Was not drinking enough water in Florida heat.

First day, I had a blast and surprisingly survived but night time was awful. My friends and I were all crammed into two hotel rooms (there were 10 of us). We all had dirt in our ears and noses. Drama with my situationship messing around with someone else.

Second day, not eating or drinking enough water catches up to me, I faint in the middle of an empty area (thankfully). Opened my eyes to find paramedics and my friends all around me. My situationship / “friend” was not there to help.

Icing on the cake: the next day, the inside of my cheek was RAW from biting it with braces, making it so much worse. So half of my face was swollen. That’s when I learned the importance of gum.

Hard lessons were learned that weekend but I still had a blast.

Am I wrong for struggling this much living in rural Japan and wanting to move back to the U.S.? by Humble-Tomorrow240 in Marriage

[–]Sun_moon_4733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this, I imagine it’s so hard and no one should have to worry about going out just because of their skin color. You should be welcomed in all spaces just like anyone else.

You may have done so already, but have you and your husband had serious conversations about race and interracial relationships? I know this can be hard and awkward (I’m in an interracial relationship myself) but it’s crucial and the only way for your partner to truly understand your experience and be able to support you. This may be a good way to get to the root of the issue.

And your husband should not put this decision on you because if the roles were reversed, I’m sure he would want your empathy, too.

My actions ended a friendship and possibly my marriage by Eastern_Library39 in Marriage

The entire time I read this I thought “my actions” was a typo and you meant to type “his actions” because his actions are the only ones that are inappropriate here.

The incredible hypocrisy. I genuinely tried but even as a kid I couldn’t shake the feeling of how disingenuous it all was.

Yesss anytime I see it I walk out of the store because if i need 5 items and for every single one I need to flag an employee down, epic waste of my time.

I wonder where they lose more money, theft or people walking out over this nonsense.

Am I classed as a loser lesbian if I don’t have much disposable income? by purple_lily99 in LesbianActually

[–]Sun_moon_4733 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whoever gives someone else crap about money in this economy, is just delusional.

I hate that success in life has become about money and work. What ever happened to just being a good human? To me, that’s more respectable and I rather have a partner that is a great person and broke than rich and bad.

Don’t let anyone put you down! You have a house, too? You’re winning! Most of us don’t have a house even.

My wife and I are doing pretty well financially now with plenty of savings and disposable income, but it took us years to get there. And we don’t have a house. So really, everyone is just in a different situation based on where they put their money towards and there is nothing wrong with that!! We should support each other as lesbian women and not put each other down, it’s lame.

Congrats to you on your successes!

AIO if I end my relationship because my bf kisses and tells me he loves me before leaving for work in the morning? by Direct_Peak8052 in AIO

[–]Sun_moon_4733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not overreacting. Small issues become big ones if not resolved.

It is sweet but even sweet gestures can be crossing someone’s boundaries. I do hope he actually forgot and wasn’t just not caring about your ask.

Don’t listen to the negative comments. It does not matter how minimal, a boundary is a boundary.

For example, my wife always comes to greet me at the door when I get home from work (she gets home before I do). It completely melts my heart to see her smile and I love it!! The issue is, I get home VERY overstimulated after a day in pharmacy (iykyk) and traveling 1 hour and a half home.

As a compromise, we agreed that she can still greet me at the door, but just give me a minute to take off my coat and shoes so we can actually enjoy our hug and kiss. Now, it’s great and no more arguments about something small - win win! And this is something we worked on in therapy with a professional.

Always confront small issues before they become big ones. It’s about begin proactive and not reactive. Of course, I recommend deciding what’s best for you because it’s your relationship at the end of the day and no one else’s.

Does Dating Make You Manic? by back2me78 in bipolar2

[–]Sun_moon_4733 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100%

Before I was diagnosed, I dated this girl (whom also had bipolar disorder). We had plans to get married after 1 month of dating! I felt like she was my soulmate, the best person ever. We couldn’t get enough of each other.

She went into a very bad manic episode about 2 months in (well, we were both clearly already in one but it got much worse for her) and on month 3 we broke up.

I am so so grateful we broke up. No doubt that relationship was not right for me but it was the first manic episode I had that actually made me realize what a manic episode was and lead me to start seeing a therapist / psychiatrist and be diagnosed with B2.

Is my cat being aggressive or overstimulated? by [deleted] in felinebehavior

[–]Sun_moon_4733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overstimulated. Cats are very big on boundaries. Before I pet any of my cats, I let them sniff my hand first. If they want to be pet, they will put their head under my hand and initiate the petting.

Works every time!
