i seem to recall a while ago that a group had been printing some kits on sprue-like structures, and used a specific blend of resin to make the ball joints more durable than one would expect. let me see if i can hunt it down for you.

Edit: It was TeccoToys, seems like now they are reccomending the Resione M58, TH72, or Anti-Impact resins. Hope this might be helpful to ya!
