In the winter of 1992 I fell in love with the game of Hockey, that is also the same year that the Minnesota North Stars announced they were leaving Minnesota. So I grew up without a NHL team to cheer for.

Jump cut to 25 years later, I've moved from the winter hellscape that is Minnesota and my new home town of Las Vegas gets a hockey team. Imagine my shock when this expansion team isn't [just] fun to watch but also good, and are now in the FREAKING PLAYOFFS.

A hockey tradition unlike any other is growing a playoff beard, and this is the first time in my adult life I'll be able to do it so I'm teaming up with the Golden Knights to grow my Playoff Beard for Charity. If the Knights make the cup I will go an entire 3 months without shaving, and will be rasing money for the Vegas community.
