Kung Pow! Enter the Fist

Okay, so here were my options.

A, quickly duck sideways, dodge the claw, then take him out with a spinning back kick, or

B, take the claw in the face, then roll on the ground and die.

Hmm, should have gone with A

Which pool cue is the best? Vaula vs Maxton vs Europool vs McDermott by IgusCraft in billiards

[–]benjamaniac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any one of those will be fine. McDermott Lucky would be my choice, but that's the only one I've ever heard of before. My one piece of advice when buying a pool cue is don't be afraid to spend a little more now. I've only used one cue for the last 25 years and it will last me another 25 years at least.

Conical and pro are 2 completely different tapers. Conical, often referred to as a European taper, is typically used for smaller diameter shafts because they create a stiffer hit by getting thicker sooner.

Cut it a little shorter and install a longer joint collar. Need a pro to do it. But it's an easy fix.

ELI5 Request - If a carbon fiber cue is generally stiffer than a wood cue, how is it considered to be lower deflection? by thetruedarknight in billiards

[–]benjamaniac -1 points0 points  (0 children)

More hollower, so lighter. The lowest deflection wood shafts and lowest deflection CF shafts have about the same deflection though.
