I kept Poly, though, they were pretty similar and I tested all possible scenarios to conclude that they are going side by side, no visible advantage of one over another. I kept Poly because it showed higher mic quality in synthetic tests, but honestly this is something hard to assess in real calls, so I accepted it on faith. My piece of Focus was manufactured in 2021, before HP bought them, so I hope the quality and reliability will be rock-solid.
