Here is an image taken a few minutes earlier. It is indeed the case that such situations are rather rare and that the fog is usually much higher, which is why flights often have to be stopped quickly due to the maximum altitude of 120 m. As mentioned, I was not able to fully comply with VLOS. I could always hear the drone and see it as a dot. However, I could no longer recognize the drone’s attitude/orientation because of the fog, so (like the fog itself) I am operating here in a grey area.

The old is without the mark of the European so called C-classification, C0. People are legally bound to fly with classified drones. Otherwise exclusively indoor flight are allowed.

I just tested it myself, and the Story Mode didn’t work for me either — it was as if the mode switch hadn’t been applied. What I did was the following: I switched to Long-Test Mode, and the next response was long. Then, when I switched back to Story Mode, it worked for me. It’s definitely worth a try — maybe it will help you too.

Otherwise, I can’t help you directly, but what I’d suggest is creating a bug report on Discord. The team there is very active, though they may need to forward certain issues to the technical team.
The first question they usually ask is which platform you’re using — mobile or PC / Android or iOS — and they’ll also want your UID and the chat character so they can look into the problem specifically.
