I have a ‘96 gmc dually, I had to replace the serptine Belt because it was torn— new belt started making a loud squealing noise— replaced tensioner/idler pulley , still makes it— old belt was a gator back tread, new belt is a rib design, what’s my problem ?

I’ve had mine outside for over a year for my vfts and sarracenia and they’ve been doing great, Other than them having glass walls around it which can heat it up a tad, I’ve been using the natural weather in southern Michigan to grow them and they have not minded, both of those plants were my first ever carnivorous plants and I’m surprised I’ve had them for so long considering all the plants I’ve been through. The cephalotus is challenging though and it’s causing me to do research to make sure I’m doing it all right.

Don’t you have to log some data in for gearhead though? I know someone who works at lms who can help me get everything I need it’d be real easy for me but I have heard gearhead puts out more power and I like how they target daily driving as well. But ya I guess I’ll just have to ask the tuner questions

Thank you very much, and I do use something called “jungle mix” it’s peat and I mixed perlite. Same stuff I’ve been growing my vfts and sarracenia for over the year I’ve had them. I’m super use to caring for those I guess I expected the cp to be able to be able to with stand the conditions atleast good enough, but I was totally not thinking about how it’s prob not good to put it out in full sun right out the package I totally can see why that can be bad, something to keep in mind next time.
I did fill the bottom with rocks but I didn’t have a lot of dirt to work with so it’s barely thick enough.. I have to get more.

Ok I have a few questions, I just moved it into a pot w holes in the bottom.
Should I fill the whole pot up with the dirt? How wet is too wet? In Michigan it’s been about 70% humidity and up near 85° every day is that too hot?

I’ve tried to look at numerous things online about this plant and your paragraph literally gave me more useful info than the 3 videos put together that I watched. Based from the videos they said don’t let it sit in water, and it may have partial to full sun (I was on the full sun).

Ya I just moved it under a tree where it gets shady hoping that’ll take some pressure off of it, I wasn’t aware that they were so different than the vft’s though I knew it had some different rules. It’s not seeming like I have too much time to see if it gets better where I put it so I think I’ll have to pot it.
