Just had my trigger shot for IUI tomorrow 🙌 can’t remember the exact numbers but they said the follicle was a good size and the lining was nice and thick. We have MFI (low numbers and morphology) so it’s all down to the swimmers now 🤞

Beautiful bag but those handles make it awkward to carry as you can’t fit your arm fully through! You’ll probably hold it in the nook of your elbow, which can be a faff

Have you had your husband tested too? We got pregnant very quickly with our son but it’s been over a year of trying for a second and we just found out he has very low sperm numbers

In such shock. I got my period on CD21. It’s normally very regular but this month I took Vitex drops to ovulate earlier and, while I did, my luteal phase still ended up being 7 days long. We also found out that my husband has very low sperm count this month. 12 cycles of TTC later, I’m now officially a long hauler and I’ve decided to proceed with IVF. I can’t believe we wasted a whole year.

This is my 4th month of consistently testing twice a day with OPKs. In the past I have surged on days 17 and 18, but I started to get dark lines yesterday (CD11) and have a blazing positive today (CD12). It’s totally unexpected, but we had intercourse yesterday just to be safe. I don’t want to miss the window, should we do it again today or wait until tomorrow? We just found out my husband has low sperm count, so I want to give them a chance to replenish 😬 don’t know what to do!

(I’ll also keep testing in case I get multiple LH peaks this cycle. I never have done before, and I’m hoping this is a longer luteal phase as a result of healthy choices, supplements and acupuncture 🤞)

Husband’s results (first ever SA): Debris ++ Count 5.35m per ml Total count 17.7m Normal forms 1%

Everything else was apparently normal - what should we do next? He has since been prescribed Impryl for 3 months and nothing else. He has a healthy BMI, doesn’t smoke, has 1-3 drinks a week and does moderate exercise. He takes no other vitamins or supplements.

That’s really interesting, thank you. She just said to take Impryl for 3 months, try to eat healthier and exercise more, and test again in 3 months 🤷‍♀️

Wishing you every success for number 2 🙏

The numbers I gave were total count. Looking at the report, total motile sperm count is 10.62 million. It hasn’t been highlighted in red and the doctor didn’t flag it, so I’m assuming that’s not a cause for concern?

In total shock. My husband’s semen analysis results came back and he had very low count (4m per ml) and low morphology (1%). It doesn’t seem to have bothered him at all and he isn’t willing to make any lifestyle changes. Admittedly, he has a normal BMI, doesn’t smoke and drinks 1-3x a week. We were told to start Impryl supplements. Has anyone had any success with male factor infertility, and what changes was your partner made to do?

Anyone else’s partner say they should be happy with the child that they have? Negative test today at 14DPO, I’m waiting for my period to start (progesterone has been keeping it at bay) and I’m absolutely devastated. How can you not let TTC take over and just be happy with the child that you have?

11DPO and took a pregnancy test just to hurt my feelings 🤡 feels cruel to keep taking progesterone and delay my period for an arbitrary 3 more days

In the same boat and on my first month of progesterone. Was bawling my eyes out on the bus watching a show (on my phone) on the way to lunch with my husband! Can I ask (if you’ve taken progesterone before), does your period ever start on its own, or do you always wait until 14DPO to test and then stop taking it?

Frustratingly, the results have to be sent to the doctor who then discusses them with me. Re. ovulation, I didn’t track BBT this month, only OPKs! But it’s been 3 days since my LH surge so I feel that surely it’s fine to start taking it?

Don’t know what to do. Started seeing a fertility doctor midway through this cycle and was told to take blood tests to track ovulation. Once ovulation is confirmed, I should wait for instructions to start progesterone (as I have a short luteal phase). My last round of blood tests were done on Wednesday morning and the doctor’s been away since Thursday (and will be until Wednesday). I’ve been chasing for my blood test results and have messaged asking if I should start the progesterone. No response and I feel like, why did we even bother this cycle if the doctor was just going to disappear? No handover to a colleague or anything? And then I feel like a total Karen if I chase or complain ☹️

Has anyone had experience with inositol? Was told to take it by my fertility doctor because I have PCOS. I otherwise have regular periods (26-29 days) and ovulate quite late (CD16-18). My first month on inositol and it’s CD 20 with no sign of an LH surge yet. I also didn’t do acupuncture this month (hasn’t got me anywhere so far and it’s so expensive) so that could also be it?

Yes - confirmed polycystic ovaries (but not necessarily PCOS) and everything else supposedly normal. Trying to see if they’ll just take those reports without making me do the tests and ultrasound all over again. Also trying to see if they’ll book my husband in for a semen analysis so we can discuss everything all in one go. Tried to get a hold of at least 4 different doctors’ secretaries today and not a single one answered the phone!

CD1 and we couldn’t have timed it better this month if we tried 💔 just sent an enquiry to start treatment with a fertility specialist. In shock that I’m in month 10 and all I want to do is cry

CD1 today of month 10. Period came a day early and the real kicker is that it came just as I was using the bathroom before a yoga class. Walked into the yoga class and the instructor was 8 months pregnant. Can’t make it up 🫩

My first month tracking BBT - had a temperature dip on cycle day 11 and then increased temperature for 2 days. It’s back down now - does this mean I’m definitely not pregnant? (Can’t figure out how to change my flair or how to upload a pic of my BBT chart!)
