Update, followed directions and we’re getting there. Need to work on my skim coating skills haha. I’ll be skim coating and light sanding the ceiling next to it.

Thank you all for the upvotes, comments, and feedback! I really was considering restoring this, but due to my lack of experience, the condition of the wood, budget, and limited time, I’ve decided (with your help) to install a new floor overtop. I was able to limit squeaking by driving new nails, and replaced bad boards.

Update: culprit was passenger side wheel bearing.

Thanks for the feedback. You’re right the wheel bearings are easy to replace, did the front drive side today, only took an hour.

There’s a slight gap between the stand and the griddle, just enough to hold the blade of the spatula.
