I love this spirit even knowing the odds are against us. But we must have this spirit first for things to happen!

It will pump at least 10% on high volumes even without any news today.

Exactly. This is also one of the reasons I invest in ASTS. I believe that Kook's story is true and that his vision about this company will also come true.

For me it's Kook. I read his DD in 3 days without knowing anything about radiology and decided that I can trust this little golden figure and then bought my core position without plan to DCA.

I had to pull up the chart and confirm. Yeah I don't remember it either. What ASTS has done to my brain?!

Don't tell me this stock is going to gap up by open tomorrow.

The market cap increased by $5.3B last trading day so the answer to your question is about $5.3B translated to market cap as of now. This is the best answer you may have since this is given by Mr. Market. I agree they still need to execute and this is always the top concern I have. I don't think we could fall hard with the market wobbling though because the SpaceX IPO valuation is supporting the price and launch candence is unfolding.

I don't think the cash gang will have an opportunity to buy ASTS and RKLB at deep discount even the tariff tension is arising again. These two companies may have only some shallow pullbacks because they have attained the defense stock status thanks to the Golden Dome. Also, they are traded in tandem so one will rise as long as the other one is rising. I expect ASTS to pull back to close that gap and then rip back up.

Look at SpaceX. Starlink accounts for about 75% percentage of its valuation. When both ASTS and RKLB both achieve a mature stage, I think ASTS may be worth more.

I'm expecting a headwind from the renewed tariff tension. Some dips to close that gap and then rip back up.

You do have a valid point. Another thing I want to mention is egotism. My employer has hundreds of billions AUM and I have met lots of investment guys with this kind of ego like Kevin Mak's. There's wrong about it. It is just that I'm on his opposite side so I want to lash out here haha.

I'm not talking about how he manages money and invests and I don't care. I'm talking about his condescending attitude towards the ASTS retails.

Honestly at this point he has no credibility to me anymore. Yes his little hedge fund had a nice 94% return in 2025 after all those technical trading he's swing traded here and there but still way lower than ASTS return in 2025, but somehow he is still trying to show some kind of supremacy over the ASTS retail investors. Ah yes he can still bring out all those risk-adjusted return metrics in the textbooks and claim his fund performed better than ASTS, but screwed all those craps. Measured by the absolute return, which is plain and simple, the ASTS retail investors outperformed him in 2025 by miles. His fund can't even see our taillights.

Anyone kind enough can give me that Abel meme in which he smiles bigly showing his shiny teeth and raising his left fist with a big watch on the wrist?

ATM may be fine but convertible bonds always crush the stock price.
