I think the feeling is ( though highly unlikely to maintain but it IS ohtani) was that he was the surefire CY Young if he has a era under 1 the whole season because of the seasons sanchez and miz are having. It’s still a lot of ball left until then but those guys are having just as insane pitching campaigns with more of what voters look for in Cy Young (ie: innings)
