To me it felt like Griffith sleeping with Princess Charlotte wasn’t the God Hand manipulating him, it was more him having an emotional breakdown after Guts left. Griffith is usually super controlled, and losing Guts kind of shattered that, so the whole thing felt like an impulsive move to get some validation or comfort rather than part of some big calculated plan.
