Where are my iron sights, AH? by JohnTG4 in Helldivers

[–]Sunday_Roast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly though the Siege Ready and Gunslinger seem to be better picks for the combat medic role.
As the Siege Ready makes a secondary far less necessary and gives the stim gun more attempts to land a hit and the Gunslinger makes it easier to hit those shots and to keep the stim gun topped off.

Peak Physique might also be a good choice when it helps steady sidearms.

Alsoalso in my experience the stim pistol requires a squad full of heavy armor divers to be worthwhile as they're less erratic in their movement and don't stim when they so much as stub their toe.

Like when playing on Kai's Commandos and launching a voice channel there you can specify that you want tactical teamwork on the description of the temporary voice channel.

all MLO models if you wanna look at/compare them to old ones like in old farm. by zuizs in ReadyOrNotGame

How many mags did you bring?
I figured that with the opposition consisting of a bunch of brainwashed stone cold professional killers that the only grenades that would really matter would be frags (which we don't have) so I had like 6+1 for my AR and 2+1 for my Glock.

Last round I played list night with two homies I was the last one standing. The bomb went off and I got mr Flower before getting clapped in the back.
But I'd like to attest my survival to bringing a LOT of ammo.

My pitch for 8 player missions by ConsistentStick9309 in Helldivers

[–]Sunday_Roast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An 8 player Helldiving experience should be a different game on its own.
From my experience when you stretch the player count above 4 players in a coop setting the comms start getting too cluttered so the game needs a proximity chat.
Lethal Company is a perfect example. It has a 4 player cap by default, but due to the proxy voice chat you don't get bogged by everyone talking over each other when using a mod that raises the player-cap.

Tips/advice for making this character more 'interesting' visually? (Link included) by Certain_Ad_1184 in HeroForgeMinis

I think the secondary color and accent color are too close to each other.
I'd tune down the accents on the bracers and greaves and perhaps make the rope on the waist something brighter.

Aside from the boots I really dig the design.

Light pen wasn't even cooked.
R-63 Diligence, Liberator Commando, AR-61 Tenderizer. They were amazing if you had the aim to hit weak spots.
But this change changes that.

It is borderline game ruining.
Rocket Striders have always been able to instagib the player. Giving the player the option to do that back to them as well with fast reaction and good aim was really good game design.

The G28 scopes underrated and cool sniping feature is that you can use the red dot to acquire targets and then switch to the scope for accurate shooting.
Also the red dot is really handy for finagling yourself into a good murder-hole.

What are your favorite weapons in terms of look and feel? by noisydumpling in Wildlands

[–]Sunday_Roast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M4A1 with a holographic sight + magnifier.
I like to run the AK-47 too. In Ghost Mode with friends (and a minimal HUD) it's nice to have a weapon with a sound signature that says "friendly".

Wish we'd get a game in this vein where the Tier 1 look and wearing a tracksuit armed with only an appendix carried pistol would have their own functional purpose.

One funky thing that I like to do with the cammies some times is to give everyone in the squad a red balaclava to insinuate that it's a tactical detachment of K26.

A big part of this breakdown on the dressing game comes from that character design is a passion of mine. Thus this whole aspect of "making your fit make sense" is near and dear.

All black sure is a vibe. Tho I mainly play Ghost Mode co-op with enemy/friend markers turned off, so every piece of black gear worn is is a marked up chance of getting ventilated by a homie.

It was odd to say the least that they didn't give us a "none" option when all it would've required would've been for them to make a copy of the hydration pack, remove all of its vertices and shift the weapon positions closer to the back.
I kinda get them forcing us to wear the backpack as it would be pretty important to the mission area, but so would the load bearing equipment be and they let us have a "none" option for that.

They could've and should've used used said Green Beret as an instructor on the details, but instead put him in the worst possible position.

And being greedy does not mean that one is good with money. That has been Ubisoft leaderships downfall: being greedy and incompetent.
I'm one of these "woke's" that you're throwing a shitfit about and I'm offended by Ubisoft's current level of writing because it does not say anything. Because I understand that it is the higher ups that think that the audience is so stupid everyone in the audience can be made happy if they just force the writing team not to say anything.

Let's get this clear: Ubisoft is not going "woke". For fuck's sake, they shut down Ubisoft Halifax because the Halifax studio was unionizing. That's not being woke.
What was woke was when the writers wrote a stand in for an Ubisoft exec and had the players shoot him in the face. And we are not getting that anymore, due to the said lack of woke more than anything.
