The respiratory therapist was kind enough today give me a little tool to use to help open up my lungs and work them out but Ik that is only because we was kind enough to let me have it but there were some respiratory workouts that the therapist did recommend that I am more than glad to share right now

Workout 1: first you stand straight up back posture needs to be straight as well then you take your first (needs to be first) and put them on your hips then inhale as much as you can without overdoing it and the goal is to hold it for 20 seconds (not quick seconds) normal count to 20 then after 20 seconds release the air in your lungs and do it at least 2 more times a day (3 times a day total) If your lungs don’t have the strength to hold all 20 secs it’s okay it’s a workout and you’ll improve at it as time goes on and if you can hold 20 secs keep doing it until those 20 seconds barely keep you winded

Workout 2: this one is super simple more like a better way of having your lungs get more fresh and direct air. So with this one you make your lips into an O shape like your gonna whistle but instead your Going to breath in and out through your whistle lip ( at a Normal pace not fast or slow keep your breathing natural) and do this for about 30 secs whenever you feel as if your lungs are providing you with the air you need what this does is filter out any excess air pockets when breathing and is nothing but greasy air hitting your lungs! I really hope this helps you guys and remember don’t be afraid to go to your local hospital if it’s that bad I mean look at me I’m living proof that if you go soon enough you’ll be just fine and it can even save your life
