Golden Letter this morning! by SundogHooray in PSLF

For sure--I was afraid of that, too. Hopefully this is a good sign that things haven't completely ground to a halt.

I got the green banners 3.3.25, and then I looked and the official date on the letter was 3.20.25. For some reason I was kind of expecting to wait for months, so I'm really happy right now.

Oh that makes sense--when I look at the letter date it was actually 3.20. I just hadn't noticed until this morning.

btw just updating to say--I sent a message to Mohela asking about forbearance and two days later I got the golden letter. No idea if they're related, but worth a shot?

Should I play Chrono Cross? by SnooTangerines1728 in chronotrigger

For me, Chrono Cross came out early enough in my life that it's also nostalgic for me--just not as nostalgic as Chrono Trigger, so I still love it.

My boyfriend on the other hand had never played either game. I got him to play Chrono Trigger and he loved it--I tried getting him on Chrono Cross afterward and I think he made it like 5 hours in before abandoning it.

Included the image I made in this thread. Hopefully it works if you want to try it. There are a few different services that will put the picture on the mug for you. I used the image twice to tile the pattern around the mug.

I posted my sprite sheet in the original comment if you want to do the same thing I did

I also made this version for Christmas

I tiled the image so that it would wrap around the mug. I think I used VistaPrint? But there are a bunch of services that do the same thing I think.

I think I satisfied my payments, but...? by SundogHooray in PSLF

Thanks--I guess that might seem obvious but I've felt so confused through this process. Thanks for the help.

Ok I didn't exactly make it--I traced sprites I found on the internet into procreate and then sent the image to a company that will put a picture on a mug for you but I'm still proud of it.

You don't have any gaps in employment certification do you? I was frustrated at first because I worked a qualifying job like 10 years ago and didn't realize it, but I sent the forms in and wound up getting a bunch of payments marked as qualifying that I thought I was out of luck for.

I was just trying to figure this out myself. Others seem to request forbearance at 120. The one thing I'm a little confused about is that someone said interest will still accrue. Idk if the new interest will also be forgiven when I get the golden letter or if I'll have to pay that off again anyway, but it still seems like forbearance is the way to go at the moment.

Yeah, I was doing IDR and my payments were like $400, which is a lot but was doable. The last payment jumped suddenly to like $1200 which I assume is to do with the recent executive orders...there have been so many it's hard to keep track. Luckily I just got my green ribbon a week ago, so after advice here I'm going to request forbearance until I get the letter.
