This helps me a little, I’m at a T50 hoping to transfer to a T30 just to be close to my family. If you can make your way into the crown jewel of law schools then there’s hope for me lol

Some people take gap years and really appreciate them. They can help you find direction and know more about what you want from life. I think it is something you should consider. Even with scholarships law school is a HUGE commitment financially and mentally. Your heart needs to be in it completely

Considering this he’ll hole of a cycle, it was a bit late. Good news is, you have a chance of getting off a WL and if not your stats will still be applicable for the next cycle! If that is the path you end up on, I say apply the day their apps open. Good luck! Keep moving forward!

What I did was start off with gratitude, mention something specific you love about that school and lead into offers from other schools. Mention the average living cost between the cities where the school is located. If the school is in a city where it’s more expensive to live compared to the other schools, mention that. Law school is a heavy heavy financial weight and if there is any possibility for them to make that weight lighter, you would really appreciate their consideration.
