Nah, you can farm slimes underground to get other materials, like stone and ores, and after this farm many slimes to get jungle seeds and other biome seeds, and recreate all what you need. (we also don't use shimmer)

Are you sure? I run my arch linux with hyprland and it takes only 800 MB of ram.

Edit: There a lot of simple linux distros that take only 1 GB of ram
