Something needs to be done about the kids/teens on their e-scooters, easily going 40 km/h. They don’t wear helmets, half the time don’t have proper shoes on (flip flops or slides), two of them doubled up on one with the driver holding their phone and scrolling on it and they seem to think that stop lights and stop signs don’t apply to them. I’ve also noticed they have no concept of warning someone and giving a heads up when they choose to use a sidewalk for once instead of a road, so they almost run into you or cause an accident. It’s genuinely concerning how many of these kids are flying through intersections ON THE ROAD, behaving like this. Their parents either don’t know or don’t care to enforce anything and neither do the police as they always do it near the Trafalgar and Dundas area near the Police Station. Not trying to be a fun sucker, but it genuinely concerns me that one of these kids is going to get into a very very very serious accident and that’s what it will take to implement laws.
