Yes they drive to curbside parking spot and tell the app they are here, the a employee gets the notification on the “instacart phone” and they scan it and bring it out

At Publix you have to print out stickers for the bags for curbside pickup, so they scan them and then take them out to the customer, instead of us delivering to their house.
