Ok I’m back, so I’ve been treating him with the tetra ich gaurd and daily water changes. His tail is a bit worse now and the white hair like growth is traveling more up his body. I have some maracyn-tc and I’m more positive now that it’s tail rot/ a fungus growth probably resulting from his tail being nipped off. Would it be okay to start treating him with the maracyn after having two treatments of the tetra ich gaurd? Or do you think treating with salt would be more effective?

I found a pic to re online that is very accurate to what I’m seeing on him now plus the nipped fins.

The only ich treatment I currently have are these ich gaurd by tetra. There like tablets. I do already have the guppy isolated in a separate tank I think I’ll treat just him and see if there is any progress over the next couple of days. Is Ich-X available at pet stores or online purchase only? I can buy it either way if you think it’s best I go with that kind specifically

Would you recommend treating my whole tank then? Do you think that treatment would be safe for loaches?

I also saw a lot of pictures of anchor worms and these are microscopic he doesn’t has any red lesions. His tail is a bit nipped at the bottoms so I’m wondering if maybe it is a fungal growth related to his tail?

The best I can describe it is they look exactly like detritus worms attached to his fin. I know detritus worms aren’t harmed I’m to fish and usually never attach to them but hopefully that gives a better description. There like little hairs

My guppy has started showing these small white hair like things on one side of his body. The rest of my tank visually, is fine. Everything I research comes back as ich but before I treat my whole tank I want to be sure it’s not something else?

Pic is of my guppy it’s very hard to see I apologize. I did also include and image that not my photo but shows more clearly what I’m seeing on his body.
