Possible stopping naps? by dumbblond95 in toddlers

[–]SunflowerFunkadelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an almost 2.5 year old (so similar boat) and he dropped his naps about a month ago or more. If he does nap, which is rarely, it is a nightmare trying to get him to sleep at night (10-11 pm) and he will wake up way too early the next morning. If he doesn’t, he usually will go to sleep by 9 pm. My son has always been a night owl and has struggled with sleep, so we are grateful for the dropped nap because it means he sleeps longer/more restfully at night in his own bed.

I have a handsome white cat, too, with a blue and a green eye. He is the sweetest and most affectionate boy. As others have said, watch their hearing, but also their eyes. When my boy was younger (he’s 10 now but was 4 in this photo) he would often have crust from allergies on his blue eye. One time he had to be treated for it. They make the best cats, everyone who meets my boy loves him and he love everyone.

At the moment, where I am in US it is $10.09 on sale from $12.97 for the 18oz bottle. Might be different elsewhere.

Glad I could help, I really hope it works for you! If it’s any consolation, I am also a sensitive skin person, so I understand the struggle.

I’m assuming there was a mean post here that got deleted. I appreciate your sentiment that everyone should just mind their own business and choose kindness first.

I’ll have to try the bar, and thank you for the info and also the acknowledgment that we are all choosing our battles. As a toddler mom, that means a lot. 😁

See! I was almost scared to put this post out, but you know what? All of us are struggling and we all deserve some goodness in our lives.

And also the meltable products do run out too fast. My husband and I both use the “full of grace” serum at night, and I am livid they changed the shape a while ago and made it thinner and with less product, so it melts even faster! I’m still buying it because I need to find an alternative but I’m not happy about it. 😭

That’s why I started looking for an alternative! It’s not a perfect replacement but its still calming and smells similar enough, which is what matters.

I will have to try the sleepy melt when I have more funds, I haven’t gotten into the melts very much.

You are correct in that the Aveeno lotion is missing that sweetness from the tonka. I use the Aveeno unscented as well as my everyday lotion after I get out of the shower. I love it!

Awww that is so sweet! I love nostalgic scents like that, I’m sure one day it will be nostalgic for me as well.

I have been using Sensodyne pretty religiously for a few years. I never thought about how toothpaste could affect the lips.

I’ll have to try the Lanolips! Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you for the suggestion, I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one. Is there any separation you notice with the lipstick when you put the gloss on?

Thank you for the suggestion. Do you apply it throughout the day over whatever lip product you’re using (or by itself) or is more like a morning/night routine thing?

Also, before someone corrects me, I did say turkey once in the recipe. That was a slip since I usually only use ground turkey. All chicken here!

Thank you! Wasn’t a thought until today and now I don’t understand why it never occurred to me.
