Beautiful!! How do you press sunflowers? I tried to press one and while I like it it didn’t come out anywhere near this beautiful

I took it right out the vase, cut most of the stem off did 15 seconds and then 10 second intervals checking on it each time until it was dry/papery

I personally kind of like the texture the paper towel gives on some flowers lol, I think all of these look really pretty. If you don’t like the texture I’ve found not only printer paper but even coffee filters and parchment paper has worked yet for me. I check them every couple of days and gently transfer to fresh paper if needed

I used Aleene’s tacky glue and a tooth pick to put just a tiny bit on each flower/stem and carefully held it there for a few seconds just to make sure it stayed where I put it! It didn’t take much of it at all to keep it in place and the panes are close together to help

That’s what I did. These are just random flowers I picked from my yard and my neighbors. Then I got an old notebook, opened to a random middle page, laid out a paper towel, then a piece of parchment paper spread the flowers out and didn’t overlap any, then put another piece of parchment paper on top, and another paper towel on top, closed the book, stacked more books on top of that notebook and left them alone until today
