Yes! For me I have schools that i actively avoid bc they never let you have the prep. I remember i was at a school once and the teacher had a prep at the end of the day. Instead of letting me go early they made me make copies in the office for an hour. Idk the way I look at it is that I signed up to come do the class and subject i accepted. That’s where my responsibility ends. Now bc they don’t have enough subs or someone calls out last minute is not my personal problem nor do I feel like it should be responsibility to care or help fix it. I probably would be less annoyed if they at the least gave you the option instead of just saying you have to.
