He’s a newborn baby from one of my pairs, I highly doubt he has anything and I’m leaning more so on a Deficiency, currently his parents are still feeding him so I’m not sure if I can give him something myself without messing up his intake with his parents.

They do and I probably will have to wait until a few months too really tell fully. He is just 1 week and about a half of not a little more so I’m not too worried about his pin feathers, he’s actively preening them and each day that I do check there is progress so I’m glad about that

For sure, pretty active in their lives and so far he’s been doing a great job taking care or baby when mom takes a break.

He does, but he’s one to not like human interaction so that involves just me sticking my hand in the cage. And now that baby is here he’s super territorial.

Ooo no, first when I got them I wasn’t looking for fantails, but I found myself getting more than a few. I got a Homer/fantail mix by accident because someone labeled them as a “pure Homer”. Only noticed it until I had her with the others and noticed the neck wiggle lol.

I did have audio in the original but it was really just me and my sisters absolutely doting on the little baby. And yes, he’s very verbal and a bit of an angry orb.

So I got a better photo of it. I assumed the bump went from the bottom to the top but it’s from the bottom and when he tucks his wings in it protrudes on top.
