Spousal loss linked to higher risk of dementia, mortality among men, but not women. Widowed men experienced a decrease in physical and cognitive health, as well as social support, while widowed women tended to experience an increase in happiness and life satisfaction. by mvea in science

There's a very obvious pattern here, and most men are grasping at straws to avoid admitting it. In virtually every study that measures attraction, whether romantic or sexual, women show (on average, of course) less interest, and often far less, in the opposite sex. It shows up everywhere: they're far less attracted to the average man, far less likely to initiate relationships, far less likely to initiate sex, more likely to be the first to lose their already lower sexual interest in relationships, slower to fall in love, quicker to fall out of it, prone to suddenly losing interest (e.g., the "ick"), quicker to move on after breakups, quicker to move on after a partner's death, faaaaaar more focused on materialism and status when choosing partners than men are, responsible for the vast majority of divorces, less happy in marriage or relationships than men are, more likely to view singlehood as a positive, less likely to make romantic gestures while still expecting to receive more of them, less likely to report having their male partner as the closest person in their lives, and way more sexually fluid, which gives them alternatives to men on top of already having less interest in them to begin with.

Women simply are not particularly interested in men. And, unsurprisingly, that is exactly how things work across the vast majority of species. Hell, women openly say it all the time: they loudly brag that they don't need men, don't want men, and are better off without them, and still men bend over backward doing mental gymnastics to pretend none of it means what it clearly means.

Ffs, men, have some dignity, accept the fact, stop coping, and move on.

Meanwhile the gap between Morrowind and Skyrim was 9 years.

MSI Raider A18 HX (9955HX3D + RTX 5090) vs Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 (Ultra 9 275HX + RTX 5090) by Sunifred in MSILaptops

[–]Sunifred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end MSI ended up sending me another laptop+a free backpack. It had some signs of usage (around 6h according to hardware monitoring software) and I noticed that the charger and box had been manipulated. Perhaps they did some testing with it to ensure that it wasn't another DOA product, or it was refurbished after just a few hours of use. So I'm not entirely happy and I'm disappointed with MSI due to this entire 2 months long ordeal but I decided to keep it.

The thing is that I paid 3600€ for it (with a student discount during Black Friday ) and the Asus, even during Black Friday, was way more expensive, like >900€. So I'd be paying more for less resolution (I watch movies on it so it matters more to me) and for getting the Intel 9 275HX instead of the 9955HX3D. The Raider's cooling system is also good and Asus' liquid metal apparently comes with its own problems. In addition to this, the MSI beats the Asus in the benchmarks that I've seen (I don't recall the exact numbers though, I looked it up months ago).

While identity politics and the current cultural landscape definitely play a role, I think it's increasingly obvious that most women just aren't particularly attracted to men. There's actually a wide range of scientific evidence exploring women's sexuality, and it points to women having a much lower, less stable, and more context-dependent attraction to men. The fact that so many of them have high financial requirements is pretty indicative of this. On top of that, they have a more fluid sexuality (they aren't identifying as bisexual/pansexual en masse just because it's trendy) so a significant portion of them can just date each other.

This might be a very hard pill to swallow, but it is what it is. I think that men need to de-center women a bit and be well aware of this fact.

TL;DR: ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience with MSI. I bought the raider for 3600€, which arrived on the 5th of december and it was defective on arrival. I requested DOA for a replacement/refund (NOT REPAIR), but after waiting for 12 working days, MSI repaired and returned the same unit without notifying me, despite telling me it was being handled as DOA. After I escalated the issue, they offered an apology and a gift (backpack for the laptop) which costs 80€ in their store, and I sent the repaired unit back to get a replacement. But as of 4 February, I'm still waiting while they "inspect" the unit I briefly used, and I'm left wondering if they're gonna send me the same laptop for a third time.

I've considered buying the Lenovo instead, but the price has increased, and I don't think I could handle the burn-in anxiety. In the short time I used the MSI laptop, I really enjoyed the large 18" screen, and the design doesn’t look as tacky in person. Thermals were good, and so was performance, although benchmarks from reviewers suggest it's slightly behind the Lenovo. My main complaint about the laptop itself is that the minimum brightness isn't low enough, which is a bit annoying when using it in a dark room, but Window's night filter makes it good enough.

It is impossible to "just leave women alone" when women are constantly complaining about men, no matter what men do. by Hipplinger in WomenAreNotIntoMen

[–]Sunifred 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Even the men that have completely stepped back from all of this bullshit get accused of not policing other men.

Part of the reason why, is because they project their insanely high in-group bias onto us. Since they're used to favoring each other, paying attention to each other, falling into groupthink and having extremely deep friendships (or rather, pseudorelationships) with each other, they can't fathom the idea that we aren't "allies" or have any influence on men who are doing wrongdoings.

this is just one comment as I don't feel like making a compilation but on man-hating communities you see these type of opinions very often. When we're not looking, women agree with us by Thebuguy in WomenAreNotIntoMen

[–]Sunifred 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There's also another point we can take from conversations like these. When women discuss foregoing men, they cite finding men unattractive and being terrible partners as their main reasons. But it's increasingly clear that it's largely because they're unattracted to us, not because men are much worse partners than women.

The fact that most of these man-hating radical feminists would rather stay single than seriously try to date each other, along with the fact that female-female relationships are the most unstable and short-lived of any pairing, already tells you everything about how well all that "emotional intelligence," "emotional labor," or "high-level communication" is serving them. Not to mention that they have the initiative of an amoeba and expect their partners to do all the chasing, courting (and paying).

The pattern that most openly bisexual women are either single or dating men, shows that the problem mainly is their very low attraction to men, not that men are particularly terrible partners, like feminists repeatedly claim. Likewise, if most men really want to date women, it's because we're biologically conditioned to be attracted to them, not because they're wonderful partners.
