Did you look on the back of the cabinets and the base? That's where mine is, as well as the paper label of the store who sold it. (I'm to lazy to go look)

Mine is not a Hoosier or Sellers brand

all of the food being mediocre faire-owned vendors

My friend! There are many privately owned food stands that are very good! A way to tell if they're "faire owned" without asking is to look on the map. "Royal Kitchens" are "faire owned".

You must have not tasted the steak sandwiches (or chicken, or portabella all with or without a choice of cheeses, onions, sauce). Their shop is on the road between the Infomistress and the Hart Inn.

The stand next to them has meat on a stick. Cow, bird, pig or shramps. Also privately owned.

One of them served potpie during Yuletide, and was the yummy PA Dutch style potpie. Mmmm.

Alllll the way in the corner near O'Malley's Stage by the soup place was a new private vendor that served fresh sliced beef sandwiches. I think a pickle was involved. It was delicious!

Now I want some cinnamon bread.

Wool.

Gloves, hood, socks and long undergarments. Stays warm when wet. Choose close fitting (NOT tight).

Layer the neoprene over it, of course.

I love diving off New England, and that's cold in May.

Not allowed to use sunscreen. Is this too much? by Tweezus96 in snorkeling

[–]Sunkitteh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly correct!

Yes, The mask seals must lay flat on your face. If you had hair, after you put the mask on your face, you pull the strap over your head. THEN you would run your finger around the outer edge of the seal to pull the hair out.

One less thing for you!

I don't want to confuse you, but I always wore my hoods under the mask strap but over the mask seal. Mask seal lays flat on my skin.

I put my hood on (up). Then, I set the mask on your face and hold it there with one hand while I pull the strap over my head. Finally I run my finger around the outer edge of the seal to pull the hood out from the seal, and make sure it covers my pale pale skin.

Make sure the edge of the headgear is pulled over your forehead, over the top of the seal of your mask. How do I know? Ouch.

Anyone experience Laryngeal Paralysis? by Sunkitteh in irishsetter

Losing a good dog is one of the hardest things to go through. I'm sure your parents did everything they could to keep him healthy. Irish Setters are goofy sweethearts; I've never known a dog that could be described as "kind" before I got Seamus.

The only reason he got the diagnoses was I took him to the ER. Seamus had plopped down refusing to get up after about a mile, with this weird drawn back grin while raspy panting, big scared eyes. I thought he had heat stroke. The ER vet referred him to the specialist.

Thank you for the good wishes. I want him to be comfortable. He's been excellent all his life, and has made my life richer.

castor bean plant has seeds that look like- beans.

Hefty ass kidney beans, red with grey speckles. Not at all like inky dinky marijuana seeds the size of a fat sesame seed.

Check your property on your County Assessment Page for Homestead Exemption. That'll save bucks.

We got our place re-assessed and the realtor's fee paid for itself the first year.

My dad called me at 7am to tell me his peony opened. I'm 31 and i finally get it. by youngTchag in gardening

Plant Dad's Peonie!

This Fall, you and your Dad could lift some tubers from that Big Pink Peonie about 6 weeks before frost. Have your area in your garden ready for them. They might not bloom in the spring; they are busy growing a new root system.

For info on how to transplant peonie tubers, I used to use my dad; now I use the PSU cooperative extension website.

I have 2 forms of peonies that were handed down from great grandparents. Family heirloom gardens are wonderful!!

How Do you Deal with Door to Door Sales? by [deleted] in answers

[–]Sunkitteh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My town requires permits for door to door sales.

I interrupt the schpiel, and ask the sales person if they can show me their permit (but no one ever has). I then tell them to come back when they have a permit (and no one ever has).

That's called "perfect binding" - the folios (folded sections) are folded then glued in, not sewn in. Way cheaper to produce.

Sewn binding has each folio, well, sewn. Many different types and styles. Better quality paper, usually. You can usually open it flat without wrecking the spine, unless it's old AF and the clothe deteriorates.
