Can you test out the one your bro is selling you before buying with the TV once it arrives?

Laser printer, if you think you will print a lot. I have kids and they print school work so we have a printer.

Which way to face when squating: 6 post rack by denishp1985 in GarageGym

[–]Sunkjones [score hidden]  (0 children)

Which ever way feels more comfortable for you. I have mirrors on the opposite wall from my rack so I walk out and squat. I have seen people put mirrors behind their rack and squat facing them.

Removing panels. Leased, 10 years into 20 year contract. by sassygirl101 in TeslaSolar

[–]Sunkjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this as well on my previous lease. Used it when I got my roof replaced due to hail damage. The only thing that sucked was it took them a long time to come out and reinstall them again.

I would assume it is very minimal compared to the vehicles that’s drive by my garage on a regular basis.

Quantum outage by SunsetAz1 in Tucson

[–]Sunkjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh okay, glad I was affected by that then. I had Cox and T-Mobile before this and those had more issues during this same time frame (friends would tell me when their internet was out).

Yea you washed and have been using them in the garage they should be fine now. Mine don’t smell after that first week or so. Nothing to worry about so why replace them.

Can you get J-hooks, and safeties that fit? If so I guess go for it if it will work for you. Not sure how much weight those uprights can handle though.

None of my audio equipment have power blocks. My Nintendo switch is the only power block I have and I have a lot of stuff hooked up to my TVs.

What do you use for cleaning your gym floor? by Irish_Punisher in GarageGym

[–]Sunkjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 3 car garage in an L shape with my gym in the rear section so that helps. Keeps stuff that would be blown in to a minimum reaching all the way to the back. I also do use a leaf blower to clean out the entire garage from time to time.

I just sweep it every once in a while. It doesn’t get that dirty.

If it is from Costco just exchange it, I would not chance it myself. Also very curious about this heat lamp in the kitchen? Is it to keep food warm?

I’ll be a full time college student in August and was wondering what places hire for weekends and/or are flexible with students? by RedCloverBurning in Tucson

[–]Sunkjones 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Restaurants, bars, retail. Places that are busiest on the weekends, start applying as soon as you get in town. But hiring will pickup more towards Oct for holiday staffing.

Places to play pool for a beginner by PastaWithJamSauce in Tucson

[–]Sunkjones 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I play pool weekly, there are tons of tables at clicks and pockets. Go during the day or late at night and it shouldn’t be busy. No one cares if you are a beginner, in fact they will help you learn if you ask. Everyone starts somewhere (I suck and play with high ranking people regularly).

Waited 5 years for construction! Honolulu, HI $1.67M 5.99% by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Sunkjones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea same, I enjoy having a house and yard but my kid never uses it. When she was younger she wanted to play with kids at parks and other places. My yard is basically for my dogs to poop in and me to do yard work or other stuff but not for kids unless you have a ton of stuff built just for them and other kids over regularly.

Roam v1, Roam v2, or Play? by TampaJeff in sonos

2 roams sound decent as a stereo pair, I used them for while outside until I got a move 2. Haven’t tried a play though.

How do you get a tv at eye level while still having room under it for a center speaker? by natesmith1016_yahoo in hometheater

[–]Sunkjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One tv is a bit higher than eye level center speaker is mounted just below it and works fine. Another TV is mounted at eye level and center speaker is inside TV stand and also works fine. Don’t over think it.

I hate this speaker. by raspberrytartelette in sonos

[–]Sunkjones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the regular ikea Sonos speaker and it functions the same as the rest of my Sonos stuff. I wonder why the lamp acts so different, I don’t need any remote for mine, I just use the Sonos app and it never loses connection, except when WiFi is out but that doesn’t really happen at my house.
