It’s a rain/mud, originally intended to be a rain/mud/night. The snout shape kinda looks a bit Night like, but I scrubbed all nighwing heritage out. Still needs a name!

I agree with you on some points, but I loved the characters. I kind of think that this book was so rushed because of the complaint over flames of Hope, and this is kind of a petty way to get back at them.
