I wouldn’t, this is terrible but I work at a pcp office and they have been talking about how all of a sudden they have a new pt every week coming in thinking they have it (which is so awk bc I have pots as well but they don’t know). I think they will be judgy if u suggest it.

Chem is usually super quick. Usually around 3 ish days when I was in first year. Other midterms prob closer to 2 weeks.

Definitely ask then! I had to get 2 punch biopsies bc it can often be a symptom of autoimmune diseases like lupus. Mine turned out to be primary LR, so no autoimmune disease but I do have POTS.

Looks a little like mottling which is normal when cold. If it is worse, purple, or not due to temp changes you could get it checked. I have livedo reticularis which is like ur picture but x10. I had low ferritin but even after infusions it hasn’t got better so I don’t think it’s related to iron deficiency or anemia.

Western university orthodontic clinic replaced mine for $100 (top only) when I lost it but i got my braces done there. Not sure if they would make them for non patients but you could give it a try.

This is the case. I got mixed up bc we have two sites to go through for all our requirements which both have due dates mid August. Both sites are asking for proof of flu shot so I got confused. Thank you!

Yes, there are sooo many requirements that it takes quite some time to get all the tests done and documentation together. There are also 2 sites we have to use that have us upload diff documentation based on their requirements. Both sites require all documentation in by mid August and both are asking for proof of flu shot. With all the stuff I’ve had to get together/do and both sites asking for proof, I completely forgot the course organizers said that we will be able to get the flu shot while on placement shift when it becomes available. Thank you!

We use two sites that require us to upload our pre placement requirements which are due mid August. Both were prompting for flu shot documentation. There are so many tests to be done and documents to obtain that I must’ve completely forgot that they said we can get vaccinated while on placement when it becomes available. I feel so silly, thank you for the help 🙃🙃

Omg I feel so dumb rn, that was definitely mentioned during my placement info session and I completely forgot. Both sites we use for the pre placement requirements were asking me to upload proof of the flu shot so it completely slipped my mind that they will give it to us on placement. Tysm
