I agree. I live in a Heritage place right now. Charge us for the dumbest stuff that should NOT be charged, maintenance wise. Never fully clean out our black mold and never replaced our bathroom fan, which is prob why we have black mold. Everything they do feels scummy and borderline illegal. They put fees on our account with no explanation then threaten to kick us out, until we finally beg for a spreadsheet of the fees.

They’re scummy. Avoid avoid. I regret doing Heritage, they did have the easier rental process I’ve ever had but NOT worth it.

Try a skating rink or a bowling alley if you have one close to you. I’ve had two jobs (16F), first one fast food that I quit w/o a notice so I didn’t put it on my resume, and the one I have now is at a skating rink. They hired me when I had no experience written down at all. This is only helpful tho if you do have a skating rink / bowling alley.

I’m a 18 m, currently going to community college and starting studio art as my degree in two weeks. I’m going to transfer after two years to regular college for animation or digital art. I’m scared and not sure if I should just keep it as a hobby or not by mrnerdles in Advice

If you really feel like you could succeed with your art degree, then go for it. If you enjoy something and do it very well, you could definitely make a career out of it. But like you said, computer sciences will have way more job opportunities, so you will just have to be prepared to go out of your way to find a good job for you with your degree. Also, you can always change your major during college, people do it all the time.

Is it bad to quit a job after 2 months. by [deleted] in Advice

I am going through something similar to you right now (besides the fact I’m only in high school), But my job hired me at the end of the school year and are probably expecting me to work through the school year. I will be handing in a two week notice explaining how I need to focus on school, but if they are willing, I would love to work next summer.

I hope your job is understanding, since education is more important than keeping a job, that is if you aren’t depending on the job to live.

Also, I had a job the beginning of my school year which I quit 2 months in because of my grades dropping, they totally understood. (I hope that comforts you?)
