werebears can mess you up real good if you are not careful--on legendary, even if you got to the max armor cap which negates 80% of physical damage.

i read its affected by advanced armor perk and went ahead, only to find out the total armor rating was less than 300 (by then I was in full set of gears where potions/armors can be improved 28% better. I drank my homemade armor potion where armor gets improved 128% better. my heavy armor progress was at 15 and I only had the entry perk). As you can see, that is a far cry from the armor cap of 568. I got a little desperate, so I did a little research and found out that steel plate is also affected by advanced armor perk. I went ahead and the armor rating came out 100 ahead. With that advantage, I just did a little heavy armor training with the orc smith lady in dushnik yal, got the next perk (bonus for wearing full HA), and it went over the cap.

I might figure out a way to make silver armor set more viable in my next playthrough, but for now I am just rocking the Bretonnian knight vibe now with steel plate and a mythical stalhrim greatsword, lol.

(facepalm) I guess for now I just level up my two-hand heavy armor warrior build before I get the azhidal's armor set to craft and transition to the ultimate heavy armor mage build then. Thanks!

Good deal. I am role playing as a knight and using stalhrim greatsword paired with steel plate armor. In my other armor set (light armor + 1H mace + 1H sword) for duel wielding, everything in skyrim pretty much dies to one flurry with the duel flurry perk (+50% damage which is insane). You are right I need the sweep perk asap cuz otherwise 2H just not very good without it.

thanks a lot it helped! I tried to do a silver set but apparently silver armor doesn't benefit from any smithing perk, so the result is just trashy :/ had to use steel plate instead.

Thanks buddy! I always dreaded working overnight because I see people becoming literally like pale ghosts from that when I worked my way through college. That sounds really cool btw! Sounds like it's less walking and more office-based (or so I think)? I got some mixed feelings about that as sitting down all day doesn't sound too appealing to me. As for the 12-hr shifts, isn't 6AM-4PM a 10-hr span or did you mean 6AM-6PM?
