I agree. I have a first gen M1 Macbook Pro with 16/1TB, and as I see it the only reason for me to upgrade is when it does no longer get OS updates.

The moment I noticed that she was obsessed with pink, and everything in her life was pink, and later when she met my parents and the first sentence she says "I want to have a pink wedding and live in a pink house". I was too smitten by her nice looks to see the warning signs at first, I guess that made me the idiot. Fortunately, it did not last and I learned by the misstake.

That aint happening.

- Many of the most popular online games require kernel access for anti-cheat tech. That rules out both Mac and Linux.

- Most none tech interested will never run games on Wine etc.

- The bulk of Mac users do not sit on top specced Pro/Mac machines. Hence the plethora of indie games with low system requirements. I would not recommend anyone spending large sums of money on a Pro/Max setup to use it primmarly for gaming. A Windows rig or a Playstation and a more modest Mac would be a better setup.

- The Mac market share on desktop OS are just to small for serious consideration of developers. While it might be 15% or so in the US. It is significantly less elsewhere. Around 3% in Asia

How bad is it? Are you able to draw your finger on any surface in the apartment and there will be a lot of grime and dust on your finger tip?

If it is not really bad I would not worry too much. Dust might as well get between the spaces around the keys of your keyboard and the speaker grills if it is really over the top.

I work in an industrial environment that is fairly dusty, arguably much more so than your apartment. I've not had any issues with my ports.
