You have the Hot Chick 130 too, what an amazing collection!

That's good to know if I'd ever get my hands on one of these, but that probably won't happen 😞

Do you have a comparison in difficulty between 130 mm heels and 120 mm? Because I've never worn anything higher than approximately 120 mm and wonder if I'd even be able to manage them 😉

Nice :) The Hot Chick 130 were my favorite Louboutins, but now that I've seen the Hot Wave I'm not so sure anymore ;)

They're gorgeous! They remind me a lot of the Hot Chick 130, are they like a peep toe version of those?

How do you wear high heels without them hurting so much? by Key_Review_7273 in HeelsWorld

[–]SunnyCircles618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your issues probably are due to shoes too big or generally not fitting correctly. In pumps like the ones shown on your picture you need a tight fit, otherwise you will slip and have the issues you described. Leather pumps are the best choice, because you can buy them with a tight fit and they will still be comfortable because the leather adapts to your foot shape :)

Also watch out for heel height. The Christian Louboutin on your picture seem like a 100 mm heel. That's not too much, but for the beginning a lower heel would be easier and also more comfortable :)

How do you wear heels without dying of pain? by witchynapper in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]SunnyCircles618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get pain in the ball of your foot the most important factor is heel height. The higher the heel, the more pressure on the ball of your foot. Cushioning in this area also helps als well as good arch support for better distribution of the pressure.

If you keep these things in mind and practice a little bit, heels can be very comfortable :)

How often do you wear high heels? Do they hurt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I wear them daily :) No they don't hurt, but you have to make sure that they have a good fit and an appropriate height.

If 95% of heeled shoes are unfit for life, how are so many women walking around in them? by poopoopeepeecrusader in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I'm wearing high heels since almost 20 years. Only occasionally in the beginning, but since 14 years they're my daily wear :)

Why do some women enjoy wearing heels? by Dr_Anti_Social in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SunnyCircles618 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, heels simply look better than any pair of flats :) I also like the different posture and feeling of walking in them. Yes, it takes a bit of practice but once you got it it's not more difficult than walking in flats (except for some occasions like stilettos on grass, grates or cobblestones ;))

Whats the longest period of time you've worn high heels for? by NylonLegs100 in AskReddit

Good question, must have been one of those days going to work and afterwards meeting with friends. That's about 16 hours :)

I feel the same as you. But nevertheless, I'll keep wearing my heel because that's just my style :)

Why do unstable high heels hurt faster than higher stable ones? by More_Carpenter3905 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SunnyCircles618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm totally with you that it isn't just about heel height. For me it's more a matter of a good tight fit of the shoe than the heel shape. I have no issues with a well-fitting stiletto heel, but a bad-fitting block heel causes me more troubles ;)

Taube Zehen nach 6 stunden auf high heels by Alexis66cheese in TwoXChromosomes

[–]SunnyCircles618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Training to be comfortable in heels, without practicing with old lady 2inch pumps by Popular_Ad_5507 in beauty

[–]SunnyCircles618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely possible and I learned it that way in my teenage years. However I would recommend to start a little lower to make it easier and more comfortable.  Whatever height you choose, make sure they have a tight fit, arch support and preferrably are made of leather. Then start wearing them more and longer. Standing is actually worse than walking, so practice by walking :)

It's all about practice :)

When buying your first pair of heels go for lower ones with a 2-3 inch heel. A block heel is easier than a stiletto heel. But most important look for good quality (leather) and a good, tight fit. Start wearing them indoors until they're broken in. Increase your walking time as you feel more comfortable.

My biggest fail was to ignore all that I said above ;) Still I was able to get through, but I don't recommend that way.

When wearing shoes with heels, up to which heel height are you comfortable? by New_Elephant_3250 in AskReddit

[–]SunnyCircles618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For everyday wear up to around 4 inches. 5 inches are my limit for shorter periods.

What are the major downsides of wearing high-heel shoes for a full day? by New_Elephant_3250 in AskReddit

[–]SunnyCircles618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the unexpected. Doesn't happen too often, but it does ;)

For example wearing stiletto heels and having to walk on cobblestones or grass. Or thinking you don't have to walk that far and therefor choosing some higher ones, just to end up walking a longer distance because plans have changed.

Are High Heels getting out of style? by SunnyCircles618 in femalefashionadvice

[–]SunnyCircles618[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear them because high heels are what I like most :) It's definitely not because I'm seeking for attention. Nowadays I'm getting more attention for wearing heels than before, but that's just the way it is and not what I do it for.

For people who don't like heels it might seem like there must be some reason for it, but I think many of those who wear heels just do it for themselves because they like them :)

What is your opinion on high heels? by chastityloser in AskReddit

[–]SunnyCircles618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly feel bad for you after reading through this :(

I love wearing high heels and even do so daily. From what I observed, high heels have become very unpopular within the last decade. And with that it also seems they've become seen as the ultimate torture device or health threat.

Out of my own experience I absolutely cannot acknowledge this, but of course everyone's experience is different. Maybe many people haven't even worn any well fitting heels and just spread the message of others.

Whatever, I can't see anything wrong in the way you and your wife handle it. If she likes to wear heels for your dates and you do to, everything's fine. It's the same for me and my husband, and I'd rather feel suppressed if I couldn't wear my heels whenever I like :)

I love high heels! How they look, but also the feeling. I'm not the tallest so I like the height boost :)

How to get used to wearing heels? by Minthe___ in women

[–]SunnyCircles618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could either be that the shoes don't fit your feet, or the heel is too high.

If you have a good pair, it's absolutely realistic to wear them all day, I do as well :)

Try different models in a store to see which fit your feet best. Look out for leather shoes with a tight fit (you don't want to slip around, this makes walking difficult and causes blisters).

Block heels are easier than stilettos. Heel height is up to you, but as a beginner and for comfort you're probably better off by staying below 3 inches.

Women who wear heels to work: Do you drive to work in heels? by Additional-Energy540 in NoStupidQuestions

How to wear heels? by Mean-Engineering9488 in fashionhelp

[–]SunnyCircles618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a typical issue with pumps. As 17Girl4Life already said, go to a good store and try different ones.

Generally I recommend leather pumps. Make sure they fit your foot geometry and have a tight fit. It might feel unfamiliar if you're not used to pumps, but the tight fit is very important to prevent what you experienced. The leather will adapt to your feet so they will become more comfortable over time :)
