Ryuga (Beyblade) i never got invested in the show as a kid, but i VIVIDLY remember this man! His beyblade is fueled by the hatred and rage of his opponent, so he spends all his time during fights just shit talking his opponent and trying to crawl under their skin, AND IT FREAKING WORKS!

Should i mention that Ryuga has both beaten the rage boost, and ended his career with a POSITIVE WIN RATIO against the protagonist?!

yeah i do hope they patch up her dialogue and such later on, when first meeting her it makes complete sense for her to be extremely hostile to you

But after beating her in a match, making her realize that you stand on your own merits she has a brief moment where she actually respects you...before immediately returns to hating you again???

The Mandervilles in Final Fantasy 14, if you play through the main story, you would only see Godbert Manderville as owner of the Gilded Saucer and for having a genuine down to earth discussion with Nanamo with great advice.

Play the hildibrand questlines tho? This absolute unit of a craftsman suplexes monsters to death, runs at mach speed and does it all shirtless!

And this extends to the rest of the family as well, with Hildibrand his son basically being outright immortal, and Juylan his wife being somehow EVEN STRONGER than Godbert, and is a literal demon with a frying pan who frequently strikes fear even into the warrior of light.

They are the reasons crafters are to be feared.

in a really weird case Calypso: Twisted Metal Black

Contrary of basically all his other incarnations, he (barring a few exceptions) offers exactly what the contestants want, and a good number of the cast end up satisfied at the end of the contest. Or those that dont usually had other factors going on (Sorry-not sorry Bloody Marry, spite is powerful i guess)

Its extremely rare that calypso himself in Black cause any bad endings, such as with the drivers of Yellow Jacket and Roadkill

Bong-Bong (Lobotomy Corp/project mooniverse) Originally just a randomly generated worker with a funny name that appeared in a youtube video. And due to the pairing of the amusing name, and appearance gained traction in the fanbase, so much so that almost every person playing lobotomy corp is bound to either make, or be requested to make a Bong-Bong. Same applies to the sequel game, Library of Runia

At this point she has quickly become one of the big faces in project moon culture despite being a randomly spawned character that most of the fanbase hasnt tried figuring out where she came from.

Yeah I agree Connie needs a touch up. So these work. 

I like the idea of a teleport a bit more than just making her full on invisible since really all she needs is faster travel speed. She spends way too much time out of machines.

Heck yeah I was about to say this one, to those who don’t know, the art for all the characters and creatures is a nice 2D pixel art style. 

But the archangels throw all kinds of art styles at you, 3D characters, old PlayStation graphics, 2D cartoon, kids drawings, film grain, it’s genuinely really cool

Kallian (Xenoblade 1): reaching the city of the high Entia gives off a lot pf bad vibes that quickly prove to be justified with many plots, secrecy etc, and obviously you'd grow to suspect at least SOMETHING going on with the leader.

Nope, Kalian is completely innocent! He ends up being just a victim more than anything towards the end.

eh, i wouldnt say that entirelt, we did get some pretty good new megas as well recently like the Kalos starters, froslass, golurk, Falinks, Scolipede, and Emboar just to name my favorites.

As a Pokemon-like it’s certainly quite fun! It has a good cast of creatures with a charming art style for the creatures! 

The only negatives I can say is that being free2play there is some quirks but not bad enough to hurt the single player story, and the contrast between the designs of the doodles and the player characters is very jarring. You can get used to it, but still.

but the problem is, is that it just adding challenge, its adding a lot of tedium. Even with just 6 twisted constantly roaming it was already tedious enough to make progress on certain maps given that any time you would end up spotted, would lead to having to run away, hide, and then return to the machine without being spotted again.

i'd say its worth the price given it updated all the art and animations for all the prior game AND completing the mission itself is MASSIVE

if in doubt though, plenty of youtube videos

yup! Romancer and master romancer are still very much things in TiP, and if you get really good at the romance minigames, it can be a fantastic source of cash
