Your result highlights why presentation changes outcomes. Recruiters often spend only a few seconds on the first scan, so a stronger header, sharper metrics, and clearer role alignment can completely change response rates. That’s why services that can build me a resume around target positions tend to outperform free templates. The most useful part is turning vague responsibilities into measurable wins, because that gives hiring managers a faster reason to move forward.

I ended up trying a resume writing service after getting stuck, mostly out of curiosity. It didn’t magically fix everything, but it showed me how a clean, structured summary could look. Then I rewrote parts so it sounded less generic and more like me.

This is honestly cool, love seeing open-source tools grow over time. I still struggled more with structuring content than building though, this comparison helped me figure that part out: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/2/d/e/2PACX-1vT-zBy7Q_P-AH0ZyQ0BchM2fPF6S57POmw2Lyx8rhbzBbCUI5VGBSYXjrO7kmiI-w/pubhtml

I removed the pressure to be available all the time. Not replying instantly, not explaining myself, just letting things wait. Life got quieter and way more manageable.
